Fulham vs Chelsea – Match Preview

Fulham vs Chelsea
Sunday 3rd March 2019
FA Premier League, Craven Cottage

Live on Sky Sports Main Event HD – Kick-Off: 14:05 GMT

Fulham will play host to London rivals Chelsea this Sunday afternoon in Premier League action.

The home side have a new man in the dug-out in the form of Scott Parker after the club sacked Claudio Ranieri during the week. Their four-loss streak seemingly the reasoning for his departure. Meanwhile, Chelsea restored some faith as they beat rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in a midweek clash.

Fulham are underdogs for this match despite having home advantage. SkyBet have priced them at 5/1 to win. Fulham’s recent 2-0 loss to Southampton proved to be the final match for Claudio Ranieri who left the team ten points deep in the relegation zone. Fulham have scored just once in their last four matches however at home they have been a little more successful. With goals in four of their last five at Craven Cottage, one man hoping to improve the goal scoring record will be Aleksander Mitrovic. The striker has already managed 10 goals this season and is Fulham’s biggest hope of catching up to 17th. He is 9/5 to score anytime.

Chelsea shouldn’t have too many issues with this match and are priced at 8/15. The Blues finally found a stroke of luck as they defeated London rivals Tottenham during the week. A goal from Pedro and a spectacular own goal from Kieran Trippier saw Sarri’s side over the line. Eden Hazard impressed during that match, as he has done so much in recent weeks. The Belgian has 12 goals in the league and is 11/10 to score anytime and add to that tally this Sunday.

The referee for this match will be Graham Scott. The official is one of the most lenient in the whole league, with an average of 26.9 booking points from 16 top-flight matches in charge.

Fulham vs Chelsea will be televised on Sky Sports Premier League and kicks off at 14:05.

Watford vs Leicester City – Match Preview

Watford vs Leicester City
Sunday 3rd March 2019
FA Premier League, Vicarage Road

Live on Sky Sports Main Event HD – Kick-Off: 12:00 GMT

Watford and Leicester City will go toe to toe in Premier League action this weekend.

The home side will want to wipe the egg off their face after getting a 5-0 pasting from Liverpool midweek. Meanwhile, Leicester finally undone their torrid form with a 2-1 victory over Brighton on the same day they announced Brendan Rodgers as their manager.

The bookmakers are struggling to call this match, with Watford priced at 7/5 to win by SkyBet. Watford had a torrid time in their last outing against Liverpool. However, before they met the league leaders, they had won three straight matches in the bounce. In recent weeks, tricky winger Gerard Deulofeu has stolen the headlines. The Spaniard grabbed a tidy hat-trick against Cardiff and is price boosted to 8/1 to score first.

The last two meeting between these two have seen the Foxes win by a 2-0 score line. But the last time they played at Vicarage Road, Watford won 2-1. That score line is price boosted by SkyBet to 10/1 to happen again.

Leicester City are priced at 19/10 to win – a tempting price given the predicted manager bounce at the club right now. With a new man at the helm, things look exciting for Leicester and their last outing against Brighton saw front man Jamie Vardy bag a crucial goal that proved the winner. With Rodgers exciting style of attacking football, many are predicting Vardy will continue to increase his goal tally – that already sits at 9 for the season. He is 5/1 to score first.

The referee for this match will be John Moss. The official has been rather fair in his officiating this season in the Premier League and has averaged 38.9 booking points so far.

Watford vs Leicester City will be televised on Sky Sports Main Event HD and kicks off at 12:00.

West Ham United vs Newcastle United – Match Preview

West Ham United vs Newcastle United
Saturday 2nd March 2019
FA Premier League, London Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Main Event HD – Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT

West Ham United host Newcastle United in Premier League action this Saturday evening.

The home side will be hoping to bounce back after a slender loss to Manchester City during the week. Meanwhile, Newcastle will be hoping to continue their form as they enter the match on the back of two straight 2-0 victories.

West Ham are slight favourites for this encounter as SkyBet have priced them at 21/20 to win. The Hammers won’t be too disheartened after their 1-0 loss to Man City. Their home form has been very impressive with 3 wins and 2 draws from their last five matches. Going forward, Brazilian Felipe Anderson has been a worthwhile signing as he has grabbed eight for the season. He is price boosted to 6/1 to open the scoring this weekend.

The last time these two met, West Ham ran away with a comfortable 3-0 lead. They are 18/1 to repeat that score line.

Newcastle are priced at 5/2 to win – a tempting price given their recent performances. Newcastle’s last match was another sign of a new age under Rafa Benitez. They looked threatening in attack and comfortable in possession. New signing Miguel Almiron has got the fans off their seats since his arrival and is 7/2 to score anytime.

Three of their last four wins have seen just them score. They are 11/2 to win to nil.

If you’re fancying a fun bet – back the price boost for Fabian Schar to score from outside the area at 40/1. The defender unleashed an unbelievable strike on Tuesday night against Burnley.

The referee for this match will be Chris Kavanagh. The official hasn’t been too harsh with the cards when in charge of the top-flight matches. He has averaged 33.5 booking points in his 26 Premier League matches.

West Ham United vs Newcastle United will be televised on Sky Sports Main Event HD and kicks off at 17:30.
