Live on BT Sport 2 – Kick-Off: 13:00 GMT
The FA Cup fifth round is upon us with plenty of clubs outside the ‘big six’ still hopeful of pulling off a dream. Two of those teams meet this Sunday as Bristol City host Premier League Wolves.
The home side beat fellow Championship side Bolton Wonderers 2-1 in the last round. Wolves needed a replay against Shrewsbury to settle the tie. They won the replay 3-2.
Bristol City are priced at 18/5 to win the match by SkyBet – high odds considering their recent league form. The home side are in red hot form with 9 wins on the bounce in all competitions. They have given their crowd a lot of cheering to do with six home wins in a row, conceding just three times. Famara Diedhiou has been the main man in attack this season. The striker has nine league goals and is 13/5 to score anytime.
Recent meetings do not go in the home sides favour. They have won just once against Wolves in their last five encounters. All of those matches have seen over 2.5 goals. You can get odds of 11/10 for over 2.5 goals.
Wolves are priced at 5/6 to win the match and progress to the quarter finals. Much like their opponents, Wolves are in good form and are unbeaten in six matches in all competitions. Loanee striker Raul Jiminez has been a great acquisition and could be the difference this Sunday. The Mexican has 9 league goals and 5 assists this season. He is 6/4 to score anytime.
The last time these two met, the away side won 2-1. SkyBet are offering 8/1 for the score line to repeat itself.
The referee for this match will be Martin Atkinson. The official has averaged 33.9 booking points in his 14 Premier League matches this season, however which lots at stake over 90 minutes it could be a feisty encounter.

Malmo FF vs Chelsea – Match Preview
Malmo FF vs Chelsea
Thursday 4th October 2018, Swedbank Arena
UEFA Europa League – Round of 32BT Sport 2 – 17:55 GMT.
Premier League side Chelsea will travel to Sweden in the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League to face Malmo FF.
The home side made hard work of qualification through the group stages, coming second in Group I behind Genk. Meanwhile, Chelsea made lightwork of Group L, seven points ahead of BATE who finished second and face Arsenal in this round.
Malmo FF are priced highly by SkyBet at 13/2 despite having home advantage. Malmo only just got through the group stages with a dramatic win over Besiktas against the odds secured their place. Whilst their attack has not been very affluent, their defensive efforts have been clearly effective. They conceded the average of 1 goal per match in the group stages when no one expected them to qualify.
Going forward, attacker Marcus Antonsson scored the most in this campaign. He has scored three Europa League goals so far and is 3/1 to score anytime.
Chelsea are clear favourites for this bout and are priced at 2/5 to win the match. Much of the talk in the press has been surrounded around Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri after their embarrassing 6-0 loss to Manchester City. He and the team will be keen to prove the doubters wrong and get back to winning ways. Striker Olivier Giroud has enjoyed his European campaign this season and managed four goals in the group stages. The Frenchman is priced at 11/10 to score anytime.
Chelsea’s recent form on the road does not make for pleasant reading however. They have failed to score in their last four away matches. You can get prices of 14/1 if you fancy a 0-0 stalemate.
The referee for this match will be Aliaksiej Kulbakoŭ. The Belarusian official could have his work cut out for him as this stage of the competition often sees cards. SkyBet are offering 5/4 on 50+ booking points.
Malmo FF vs Chelsea will be televised on BT Sport 2 HD and kicks off at 20:00.
Prediction: Malmo FF 0 – 3 Chelsea
– Should be a walk in the park for Sarri’s side who have a point to prove.

Brentford vs Aston Villa

The Championship, Griffin ParkSky Sports Main Event – Kick-Off: 19:45pm
Brentford will play host to a familiar face on Wednesday night as Dean Smith makes his first trip back to Griffin Park as Aston Villa manager.
Seven points separate the sides however Brentford have played a match less. They currently sit 18thin the league, 11 points from the drop whilst their opponents are 10th and 6 points from the play-off spots.
Brentford are priced at 11/10 by SkyBet to win the match. The Bees have not been goal shy in recent weeks. Their 5-2 comeback against Blackburn was one to remember and one where familiar faces were on the scoresheet. None more familiar than striker Neal Maupay, who has now raised his tally to 17 for the season. The Frenchman is 4/1 to score first.
Defensively, Brentford have not been exemplary. They have kept just two clean sheets in their last 10 matches in all competitions and they now face the league’s third most potent attack. SkyBet are offering 6/1 for both teams to score in both halves.
Aston Villa are priced at 9/4 – a very tempting market given their calibre. Dean Smith’s side will still be on a high after their dramatic late comeback against Sheffield United on the weekend. Amongst the goals in that match was on loan striker Tammy Abraham. The towering talent has now scored 20 goals this season and is 5/4 to score anytime this Wednesday.
Just like their opponents, Villa have kept two clean sheets in their last ten outings in all competitions. However, with their attacking talent and relentless goal scoring, they will fancy their chances. They are 4/1 to win and both teams to score.
The referee for this match will be Gavin Ward. The official has been rather lenient for much of this season and has averaged 29.6 booking points in his 12 Championship matches this season.
