Leicester City vs Manchester United
Sunday 3rd February 2019
FA Premier League, King Power Stadium
Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 14:05 GMT
Leicester City vs Manchester United: The red devils will be hoping to extend their run of eight matches unbeaten on Sunday when they take on Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
The Red Devils rolled back the years in midweek with a dramatic two-goal comeback against Burnley. Paul Pogba and Victor Lindelof came up with the goals to ensure Manchester United a 2-2 draw and extend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s unbeaten run as manager. Whilst there were no additions to the squad in January, Marouane Fellaini has moved to China. Anthony Martial also signed a new five-year contract at the club, which is a massive boost to those around Old Trafford. In the league, United have won their last four league games, which has helped move them to within two points of the top four.
Leicester earned a respectable 1-1 draw in midweek with Liverpool at Anfield. The Foxes have been on a torrid lately, so this result will come as a welcome sight to Claude Puel. After this game, Leicester travel to Tottenham to complete a tough run of fixtures. However, after a strong showing at Anfield, they will feel confident of getting something from the game. Results like these could help in turning around the Foxes faithful, who still seem far from convinced by the Frenchman. At the King Power, Leicester have won one of their last four home games.
Mike Dean is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 13 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 50.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 60+ total points for this fixture.
United are in fantastic form and although they dropped points in midweek, the result will have felt like a win due to their comeback. I think they’ll carry that momentum into this game and come away with three points in a tricky-looking away tie.
Leicester City vs Manchester United will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League HD and kicks off at 16:30.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United – Match Preview
Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United
Saturday 2nd February 2019
FA Premier League, Wembley Stadium
Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 12:30 GMT
Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United: Tottenham will be hoping to extend their seven-point lead on the chasing pack as they look to consolidate their place in the top four when they take on Newcastle at Wembley.
Spurs came from behind to beat Watford 2-1 in midweek, with Heung-Min Son and Fernando Llorente on target. Son is back from the Asia Cup after South Korea were knocked out, which is a timely boost for Mauricio Pochettino. Harry Kane is injured, therefore Son will be key in ensuring Spurs can challenge in the Premier League and the Champions League. Had Tottenham lost in midweek, it would have been their third-straight defeat at home, having lost to Wolves and Manchester United before then. Over the course of the season, they have been quite strong at Wembley, so I wouldn’t read too much into their recent struggles.
Newcastle produced one of the biggest shocks of the season in midweek as they beat Manchester City 2-1. Despite having just 23% possession, Rafael Benitez’s side secured a famous result, thanks to Matt Ritchie’s late penalty. The Toon’s squad have been boosted by their new record signing, Miguel Almiron, who will play in the number ten position. It’s the first time Newcastle have broken their transfer record in 14 years – Michael Owen had held the record beforehand. They have won just one of their last four away games and with the club just five points above the relegation zone, that is a run they will be hoping to end.
Andre Marriner is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 13 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 32.3. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.
Tottenham will have been majorly boosted by their comeback win in midweek. Newcastle will be buoyed by their victory, similarly. However, I fancy Spurs to get the win in this one, despite their recent patchy form.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick off at 12:30 GMT.
Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Newcastle United

- Price Boost – Christian Eriksen to score from outside the penalty area – 13/2.

Preston North End vs Derby County – Match Preview
Preston North End vs Derby County
Friday 1st February 2019
The Championship, Deepdale
Sky Sports Football – 19:45pm
Preston North End vs Derby County: The Rams will be looking to bolster their bid for the top six with three points at Deepdale against Preston on Friday night.
Derby continued their cup exploits at the weekend with a 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Martyn Waghorn’s 70th-minute strike was the difference between the side, although Jaden Bogle was sent off for the Rams on a sour note. That result has set them up with a trip to West Brom or Brighton in the last 16. In the league, Derby occupy the final play-off spot in sixth place. They sit two points ahead of seventh-placed Bristol City and one point above Middlesbrough in fifth. Securing a play-off spot is the Rams’ main aim for the rest of the campaign, alongside their FA Cup run. In the league, Derby have won two, drawn one and lost two in their five games, but have only lost one of their last five away matches.
Preston have proven to be one of the most inconsistent sides in the league. The Lilywhites have taken an upwards turn in recent weeks, with impressive results at QPR and Stoke City. Their 2-0 win over the Potters at the weekend has left them in 16thplace, but 12 points clear of the relegation zone. After finishing seventh last season, many expected Alex Neil’s sie to feature higher up the table, however a slow start to the season and lots of injuries have hampered their season. In January, Preston have signed two young players from the lower leagues, Brad Potts and Jayden Stockley. Both were on target in their debut win over QPR, whilst Potts was also on the scoresheet against Stoke.
Darren England is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 14 second-tier matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 41.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 60+ total points for this fixture.
Preston haven’t won at home in their last four outings, but have picked up two fantastic results in the last couple of weeks. Derby have dropped a few points lately and will want to put that run to an end. I’m going to plump for a drawn in this one, as Preston seem to have turned a corner.
Preston North End vs Derby County will be televised live on Sky Sports Football in the UK with kick off at 19:45 GMT.
Prediction: Preston North End 1-1 Derby County
Suggested Tips – Preston North End vs Derby County – (BET365):

- First Goalscorer – Jack Marriott – (link no longer available).
Suggested Tips – Preston North End vs Derby County – (SKYBET):
- Popular RequestABets – Harry Wilson to score from outside the area and Preston to miss a penalty – 125/1.
- Popular RequestABets – Marriott to sore first and Pearson to be shown the first card – 40/1.
- RequestABet Specials Up to 10/1 – Over 1.5 goals, Marriott 1+ shots on target, 6+ match corners and 20+ match booking pts – 1/1. (NAP).
