Arsenal vs Liverpool – Match Preview

Arsenal vs Liverpool
Saturday 3rd

FA Premier League, The Emirates Stadium

Live on BT Sport 1 – Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT

Arsenal vs Liverpool – Two of the Premier League’s in-form sides go head to head as Arsenal host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The Gunners are unbeaten in 13 games, a run extended by their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last weekend. The draw ended a run of 11 straight wins for Unai Emery’s side after two Luka Milivojevic penalties earned Palace a point. Arsenal currently sit in fourth, just four points behind league leaders Manchester City and Liverpool. Although Arsenal have been in phenomenal form, they’ve proven to be great value for BTTS backers. In 11 of their last 14 games in all competition, both teams have scored in the Gunners games. That shows they are still vulnerable defensively, which Liverpool will be hoping to exploit.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang continued his hot streak in front of goal at Selhurst Park with another goal. That strike was his ninth of the campaign, in just 13 appearances. The Gunners also sealed their spot in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup with a nervy 2-1 win over Blackpool. That win has set up a North London Derby with Tottenham Hotspur for a place in the last four.

Liverpool romped to a 4-1 win over Cardiff City last weekend. Mohamad Salah grabbed his second goal in as many games at the weekend. Sadio Mane also grabbed a brace as Liverpool’s front three rediscovered their scintillating form of last season. The Reds conceded just their fourth goal of the campaign against Cardiff. At this stage last campaign, the Reds had leaked 16 goals, four times their current amount. That highlights the improvements in the Reds defence, mainly thanks Virgil van Dijk and Alisson.

Andre Marriner is the referee for this game. The Englishman has taken charge of nine top-flight games this season, accumulating an average booking points total of 34.4. As a result, I would recommend a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Arsenal and Liverpool are both prolific in attack, whilst the Gunners are also leaky at the back. Jurgen Klopp’s side are also unbeaten in the league this season, which may tip the match in their favour.

Where to watch the game – Arsenal vs Liverpool will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 1 with kick off at 17:30 GMT.

Bournemouth vs Manchester United – Match Preview

Bournemouth vs Manchester United
Saturday 3rd
 November 2018
FA Premier League, The Vitality Stadium

Live on BT Sport 1 – Kick-Off: 12:30 GMT

Bournemouth vs Manchester United: Manchester United will be looking to continue their climb up the Premier League table when they face in-form Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The Red Devils climbed up to eighth in the table with a 2-1 win over Everton at Old Trafford. Anthony Martial continued his recent form with the winning goal. The Frenchman now has four goals in his last five games, which saw him pick up United’s player of the month award. His goals have been vital, given Romelu Lukaku’s recent goal drought. The Belgian was dropped against the Toffees, with Marcus Rashford preferred upfront. Lukaku now has a fight to regain his starting spot, having gone nine games without a goal for his club. Jose Mourinho’s side are without a win away from home in their last two games and need to put it right to continue their assault on the top four.

With tricky trips to Juventus in the Champions League and Manchester City next weekend looming, it’s vital that United kick-start a crucial week in style. A strong performance and result could give the team the confidence needed to pick up much-needed results in their next two fixtures.

Bournemouth continued their fine form with two wins this week. On Saturday, they impressed with a 3-0 away win at Fulham, before moving into the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup with a win over Norwich City. Callum Wilson grabbed another brace last weekend to take him on to six goals for the season. His partnership with Josh King has been one of the strongest outside of the top six this season, which makes them a force against any sides defence.

Paul Tierney is the referee for Saturday’s early kick-off. The Englishman has officiated five games in the top flight this season, accumulating an average booking points total of 32. As a result, I would recommend a maximum of 50+ booking points for this fixture.

This game is tough to predict, given Manchester United’s fluctuating form. Bournemouth have been strong this season, especially at home. One thing is for sure, there will be goals, and as a result, I’m going for a score draw.

Where can I watch the game: On TV in the UK – Bournemouth vs Manchester United will be televised on BT Sport 1 with kick off at 12:30PM.

Aston Villa vs Bolton Wanderers – Match Preview

Aston Villa vs Bolton Wanderers
Friday 2nd
 November 2018
SkyBet Championship, Villa Park

Live on Sky Sports Football – Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT

Aston Villa vs Bolton Wanderers: Aston Villa will be looking to bounce back from back to back defeats when they host Bolton Wanderers at Villa Park.

After winning his first game in charge at home to Swansea City, Dean Smith has watched his side lose twice on the road. Those defeats against Norwich and QPR were by just a one-goal margin, which highlights the competitive nature of the division. Those defeats have left Villa 17th in the table, with 18 points from their 15 games. Remarkably, Villa are just three points above the drop zone, but seven off the play-offs. With that in mind, Smith needs a favourable run of results sooner rather than later. Whilst Smith assesses his squad Villa need to pick up more points. At the moment, they seem to have too many options in attack, which makes it hard to know what their best formation or combinations are.

Tammy Abraham has led the line well, scoring four goals in ten games. Jonathan Kodjia, on the other hand, has struggled with just four goals in 16 appearances in all competitions. With the arrival of Abraham, Kodjia has been forced out wide, which is why Villa aren’t seeing the best of him. That again illustrates their issue, with such an abundance of attackers.

Bolton are without a win in five games ahead of this game. In truth, their recent form has been awful, with just one victory in their last 11 league outings. Away from home, they are without a win since 18th September, a run stretching five games. Defeat against fellow struggler Hull City at home was a blow last weekend, which has cranked up the pressure on Phil Parkinson. Thanks to a good start to the season, Bolton sit in 19th but are only two points above the drop zone.

Oliver Langford is the referee for this game. The Englishman has an average booking points total of 22.2, accumulated over nine second-tier matches this season. Therefore, I would recommend a maximum of 40+ total points for this fixture.

Aston Villa are due a win after tow disappointing display. Bolton are in wretched form, which makes this quite an easy prediction.

Aston Villa vs Bolton Wanderers will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Football with kick off at 19:45.
