Everton vs Manchester City
Wednesday 6th February 2019
FA Premier League, Goodison Park

Un-Televised – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Everton vs Manchester City: The visitors can move top of the Premier League table with three points against Everton on Wednesday night as the race for the title hots up.

The gap between City and Liverpool is now just three points after the Reds’ 1-1 draw with West Ham last night. Pep Guardiola’s side, by contrast, blew Arsenal away on Sunday with a comprehensive 3-1 win. City looked back to their best at the weekend, with Sergio Aguero providing a timely reminder of his ever-lasting class as he netted a hat-trick. Guardiola’s unorthodox 3-4-3 system, with Fernandinho switching between defence and midfield, raised a few eyebrows but worked a treat as City dominated the midfield battle. City have shown signs of being back to their best recently, which is underlined by six clean sheets in their last seven games. Whenever City dominate, they tend to be tight at the back, which is what they did at the start of the campaign and last year. They look more settled, which can only be positive, heading into the next few decisive months.

Everton are in desperate need of a result after losing at home to Wolves on Saturday. The Toffees have won just two of their last six outings. The pressure is beginning to build on Marco Silva after they spent heavily in the summer. Everton are ninth in the table, 11 points clear of relegation but are out of the FA Cup. That embarrassing defeat at Millwall will hurt Evertonians, as their long wait for a trophy goes on. Everton’s inability to defend set pieces has been evident lately. The Toffees have conceded the most goals in the league from dead balls – a worrying statistic. They’ve only won one of their last six league games at home too, which is where the pressure is growing from.

Craig Pawson is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 12 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 48.8. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 60+ total points for this fixture.

City will be smelling blood, knowing they can move top with a win. Irrespective of Everton’s bad form, that makes them huge favourites for this game, in my book. When you consider the Toffees form, there’s only one winner, for me.

Prediction: Everton 0-3 Manchester City

Suggested Tips – Everton vs Manchester City – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Manchester City to win 3-0 – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Everton vs Manchester City – (SKYBET):

  • Price Boost – Sergio Aguero to score a brace – 7/2.
  • Scorecast Boost (Double Chance) – Leroy Sane to Score First and Manchester City to win 2-0 or 3-0 – 14/1.
  • Both Players To Score – Raheem Sterling & David Silva – 15/2.
  • Previous RequestABet Winners – Over 1.5 goals, 3+ Everton corners, 5+ Manchester City corners and 10+ match booking pts each tam – 2/1. (NAP).
  • 17/18 RequestABet Winners – Sane to score first and no booking points – 100/1.
  • RequestABet Specials 80/1 and above – Bernard, Sterling & Richarlison 2+ shots on target each and Aguero 1+ shot on Target – 800/1. (Highly unlikely to hit – but at those odds seemed very good value).

West Ham United vs Liverpool: Liverpool will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table when they travel to the Olympic Stadium on Monday night to face West Ham.

Liverpool missed the opportunity to move seven points clear of Manchester City after a 1-1 draw with Leicester. Jurgen Klopp’s side weren’t quite at the races and the Foxes came away with a well-earned point. Despite dropping points, the Reds ultimately extended their margin of error over City to five points, which is still a significant gap. With the Champions League due to recommence in the next few weeks, it will be interesting to see how Klopp manages his squad in both competitions. Liverpool haven’t added to their squad in this window, having spent strongly in the summer. That shows Klopp has the belief this crop of players can carry them to domestic glory.

West Ham have had a very tough week, having lost 4-2 to Wimbledon in the FA Cup and 3-0 to Wolves in midweek. Manuel Pelligrini’s side could do with a pick-me-up and an improved performance after three straight defeats. Their last home game was a 1-0 win over Arsenal and they’ll need a similar level of performance to get a strong result in this game. The Hammers will be without Marco Arnautovic, who has signed a new deal with the club after looking set to move to China. Although he’ll miss fixture, keeping the Austrian forward is a major boost to West Ham’s hopes of a strong end to the season.

Kevin Friend is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 12 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 40.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 60+ total points for this fixture.

West Ham will be hoping to raise their performance levels after a tough run of results. On the other hand, Liverpool will be desperate to get back to winning ways after a minor blip on Wednesday. I think the Reds will shade this one, although it won’t be straight forward.

West Ham United vs Liverpool will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick off at 20:00.

Prediction: West Ham United 1-2 Liverpool

Suggested Tips – West Ham United vs Liverpool – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Liverpool to win 2-1 – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – West Ham United vs Liverpool – (SKYBET):

  • Full Time Result and Both Teams to Score – Liverpool and Yes – 13/8.
  • Both Players To Score – Felipe Anderson and Mohammed Salah – 15/2.
  • To Score & Win – Sadio Mane – 15/8.
  • Previous RequestABet Winners – Over 1.5 goals, 3+ West Ham corners, 5+ Liverpool corners and 30+ match booking pts – 2/1. (NAP).
  • RequestABet Specials 80/1 and above – Firmino to score, Liverpool 2-1, 3+ corners each team and Zabaleta to be carded – 66/1. (No idea why this market is in the 80/1 and above).
  • @FootyAccums RequestABet Specials – BTTS, Anderson & Mane 1+ shots on target each, 3+ corners each team and 10+ booking points each team – 15/2. (NB).

Match Betting Preview - Manchester City vs Arsenal. Sunday 3rd February 2019, FA Premier League, Etihad Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 16:30 GMT.

Manchester City vs Arsenal
Sunday 3rd February 2019
FA Premier League, Etihad Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 16:30 GMT

We have a huge top of the table clash in the Premier League as Manchester City will entertain Arsenal this Sunday.

The home side will want to quickly bounce back after their shock 2-1 defeat to Newcastle. Meanwhile, the visitors will want to build on their 2-1 victory over Cardiff in their last outing.

Manchester City are heavy favourites for their encounter and are priced at 3/10 by SkyBet. Pep Guardiola’s side were shocked when they last took the field. They faced an embarrassing 2-1 defeat to Newcastle that could play a huge part in their title defence. On the scoresheet that match was Sergio Aguero, who bagged his 11thof the campaign. The Argentine is 11/4 to score first.

The home side have had six clean sheets in their last seven matches; impressive stuff. They will aim to kill off their visitors with an early goal and control the tempo and possession. The Citizens are 6/4 to win to nil.

Arsenal are priced at 15/2 to win this match. Unai Emery’s side have been a picture of inconsistency this season. They have failed to win consecutive matches in their last five attempts. Their most recent match saw them narrowly defeat Cardiff at home. Their away form makes for slightly worse reading with just one win in six away matches. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been an inspired signing and is in the race for the golden boot. He currently has 15 goals this season, one behind Mo Salah of Liverpool. He is 9/4 to score anytime and add to that impressive tally.

Arsenal have lost three of their last four meetings with City to nil. They are a much-improved outfit now however and are likely to pose a greater threat. SkyBet are offering 6/1 for both teams to score in both halves.

The referee for this match will be Martin Atkinson. The official is one of the more lenient in the league and he has averaged 33.9 booking points in his 14 Premier League matches in the middle.

Manchester City vs Arsenal will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League HD and kicks off at 16:30.

Prediction: Manchester City 3 – 0 Arsenal

– They have no more chances for any mistakes if they want to catch Liverpool.

Suggested Tips – Manchester City vs Arsenal – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Manchester City to win 3-0 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Raheem Sterling – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Manchester City vs Arsenal – (SKYBET):

  • Correct Score Group Betting – Manchester City to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 – 3/1.
  • Price Boost – Kevin De Bruyne to score from outside the area – 8/1.
  • Popular RequestABet – Aguero to score a header and Arsenal to score a penalty – 150/1.
  • 17/18 RequestABet Winners – Manchester City to score 3+ goals, 5+ Manchester City corners and 30+ Arsenal booking pts – 10/3. (NAP).

Match Betting Preview - Leicester City vs Manchester United. Sunday 3rd February 2019, FA Premier League, King Power Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 14:05 GMT.

Leicester City vs Manchester United
Sunday 3rd February 2019
FA Premier League, King Power Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 14:05 GMT

Leicester City vs Manchester United: The red devils will be hoping to extend their run of eight matches unbeaten on Sunday when they take on Leicester at the King Power Stadium.

The Red Devils rolled back the years in midweek with a dramatic two-goal comeback against Burnley. Paul Pogba and Victor Lindelof came up with the goals to ensure Manchester United a 2-2 draw and extend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s unbeaten run as manager. Whilst there were no additions to the squad in January, Marouane Fellaini has moved to China. Anthony Martial also signed a new five-year contract at the club, which is a massive boost to those around Old Trafford. In the league, United have won their last four league games, which has helped move them to within two points of the top four.

Leicester earned a respectable 1-1 draw in midweek with Liverpool at Anfield. The Foxes have been on a torrid lately, so this result will come as a welcome sight to Claude Puel. After this game, Leicester travel to Tottenham to complete a tough run of fixtures. However, after a strong showing at Anfield, they will feel confident of getting something from the game. Results like these could help in turning around the Foxes faithful, who still seem far from convinced by the Frenchman. At the King Power, Leicester have won one of their last four home games.

Mike Dean is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 13 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 50.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 60+ total points for this fixture.

United are in fantastic form and although they dropped points in midweek, the result will have felt like a win due to their comeback. I think they’ll carry that momentum into this game and come away with three points in a tricky-looking away tie.

Leicester City vs Manchester United will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League HD and kicks off at 16:30.

Prediction: Leicester City 1-2 Manchester United

Suggested Tips – Leicester City vs Manchester United – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Manchester United to win 2-1 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Marcus Rashford – (link no longer available).

  • Popular RequestABet – Vardy & Pogba to score and Evans & Shaw to be carded – 100/1
  • Price Boost – James Maddison to score from outside the penalty area – 18/1.
  • RequestABet Specials 80/1 and above – Vardy & Pogba to score, 3+ corners each team and Maguire & Matic to be carded – 80/1.

Match Betting Preview - Leeds United vs Norwich City. Saturday 2nd February 2019, SkyBet Championship, Elland Road. Live on Sky Sports Football HD - Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT.

Leeds United vs Norwich City
Saturday 2nd February 2019
SkyBet Championship, Elland Road

Live on Sky Sports Football HD – Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT

First placed Leeds United will host second placed Norwich City in SkyBet Championship action.

The result of the match could have a drastic effect on the title race for the remainder of the campaign. Currently three points split the two sides who both enter the match in rather shaky form. Expect tension, goals and drama.

Leeds United are priced at 17/20 to win the match by SkyBet. A victory would see them jump six points ahead of the rest of the competition. Scoring goals has not been a problem for Marcelo Bielsa’s side; with Kemar Roofe the main man. The striker has 14 goals this season but has failed to score in his last two matches. He is 7/1 to break the deadlock.

Last time these two met earlier in the season, Leeds easily won 3-0. However, Norwich have become a stronger outfit and Leeds have managed just two clean sheets in their last ten matches. SkyBet are paying out 9/4 for a home victory and both teams to score.

The visitors have lost just one of their last ten matches on the road and are priced at 3/1 by SkyBet to pull off a huge victory. They have become masters of the late goal and much of that accolade must be credited to Teemu Pukki. The forward has been in stellar form this season and has already bagged 17 league goals. The Finish international has scored in his last two outings and is 17/10 to score anytime.

Norwich have had a dip in form through January with just one win in their last five appearances. They have also kept one clean sheet in their last ten. You’ll get tempting odds of 8/1 for both teams to score in both halves.

The referee for this match will be Stuart Attwell. The official has officiated just one Championship match this season where he brandished a total of 40 booking points. With so much on the line and high tension, Attwell will be reaching for his pocket aplenty.

Leeds United vs Norwich City will be televised on Sky Sports Football HD and kicks off at 17:30.

Prediction: Leeds United 2 – 2 Norwich City

– It is impossible to split these two teams however it should be an open and dramatic encounter.

Suggested Tips – Leeds United vs Norwich City – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Draw 2-2 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Kemar Roofe – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Leeds United vs Norwich City – (SKYBET):

  • Correct Score Group Betting – Draw 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 – 7/2.
  • Both Teams to Score in Both Halves – Yes – 15/2.
  • RequestABet Specials up to 10/1 – BTTS, 4+ Corners Each Team and 20+ Booking Points Each Team – 7/1.

Match Betting Preview - Cardiff City vs Bournemouth. Saturday 2nd February 2019, FA Premier League, Cardiff City Stadium. Live on BT Sport 1 HD - Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT.

Cardiff City vs Bournemouth
Saturday 2nd February 2019
FA Premier League, Cardiff City Stadium

Live on BT Sport 1 – Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT

Cardiff host Bournemouth in Premier League action this weekend in a match that could have a drastic effect on the relegation battle.

Whilst the football is the occasion, it is likely the atmosphere will be solemn as it is the first time the Bluebirds will play at home since the disappearance of Emiliano Sala. However, the home side must improve on recent form if they are to remain a Premier League team. Meanwhile, Bournemouth have pulled off two great consecutive wins over Chelsea and West Ham.

The home side are priced at 21/10 to win this match by SkyBet. Despite losing to Arsenal in their previous outing, they were impressive for much of the match. However, their home form has been far from desirable. The introduction of Oumar Niasse is a big boost for the attack and he is price boosted 15/2 to score first. Callum Paterson is their highest scorer so far and he has 4 goals. That’s 20% of their goals scored all season. He is 23/10 to score anytime.

Past meetings do not go in Cardiff’s favour either. They have failed to win in their last four meetings with the Cherries. They are 9/2 to win and both teams to score.

Bournemouth are favourites and are priced at 5/4 to win. The visitors will be in high spirits after their 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea. However, their form on the road has been abysmal with seven defeats in a row. Josh King will be vital for Eddie Howe with the absence of Callum Wilson and David Brooks in attack. King has 8 goals this season and is price boosted at 7/1 to score first.

The referee for this match will be John Moss. The official has not been shy with the cards this season and has averaged 40.8 booking points in his 12 Premier League matches.

Cardiff City vs Bournemouth will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 1 HD and kicks off at 17:30 GMT.

Prediction Cardiff City 1 -1 Bournemouth

– The home side will be desperate for points however Bournemouth will not roll over easily.

Suggested Tips – Cardiff City vs Bournemouth – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Draw 1-1 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Oumar Niasse – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Cardiff City vs Bournemouth – (SKYBET):

  • To Score and Win – Ryan Fraser – 6/1.
  • Correct Score Group Betting – 1-1, 2-2, or 3-3 Draw – 3/1.
  • Popular RequestABet – Bamba to score a header and Bournemouth to score a penalty – 125/1.
  • RequestABet Specials up to 10/1 – BTTS, 4+ Corners Each Team and 20+ booking points each team – 11/2.

Match Betting Preview - Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United. Saturday 2nd February 2019, FA Premier League, Wembley Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 12:30 GMT.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United
Saturday 2nd February 2019
FA Premier League, Wembley Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 12:30 GMT

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United: Tottenham will be hoping to extend their seven-point lead on the chasing pack as they look to consolidate their place in the top four when they take on Newcastle at Wembley.

Spurs came from behind to beat Watford 2-1 in midweek, with Heung-Min Son and Fernando Llorente on target. Son is back from the Asia Cup after South Korea were knocked out, which is a timely boost for Mauricio Pochettino. Harry Kane is injured, therefore Son will be key in ensuring Spurs can challenge in the Premier League and the Champions League. Had Tottenham lost in midweek, it would have been their third-straight defeat at home, having lost to Wolves and Manchester United before then. Over the course of the season, they have been quite strong at Wembley, so I wouldn’t read too much into their recent struggles.

Newcastle produced one of the biggest shocks of the season in midweek as they beat Manchester City 2-1. Despite having just 23% possession, Rafael Benitez’s side secured a famous result, thanks to Matt Ritchie’s late penalty. The Toon’s squad have been boosted by their new record signing, Miguel Almiron, who will play in the number ten position. It’s the first time Newcastle have broken their transfer record in 14 years – Michael Owen had held the record beforehand. They have won just one of their last four away games and with the club just five points above the relegation zone, that is a run they will be hoping to end.

Andre Marriner is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 13 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 32.3. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Tottenham will have been majorly boosted by their comeback win in midweek. Newcastle will be buoyed by their victory, similarly. However, I fancy Spurs to get the win in this one, despite their recent patchy form.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick off at 12:30 GMT.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Newcastle United

Suggested Tips – Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Tottenham Hotspur to win 3-1 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Heung-Min Son – (link no longer available).
  • Anytime Goalscorer – Matt Richie – (link no longer available). (Boosted on SkyBet).

Suggested Tips – Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United – (SKYBET):

  • Previous RequestABet Winner – Tottenham to score 2+ goals, 5+ Tottenham corners and 20+ Tottenham booking pts – 9/2.
  • RequestABet Specials 80/1 and above – Tottenham to win, 9+ Tottenham corners and Dier & Rose to be carded – 80/1.
  • Price Boost – Christian Eriksen to score from outside the penalty area – 13/2.
  • Double Up Price Boost – Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen to have 2+ shots on target each (was 5/2 NOW 5/1) – 5/1.

Match Betting Preview - Preston North End vs Derby County. Friday 1st February 2019, SkyBet Championship, Deepdale. Live on Sky Sports Football HD - Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT.

Preston North End vs Derby County
Friday 1st February 2019
The Championship, Deepdale

Sky Sports Football – 19:45pm

Preston North End vs Derby County: The Rams will be looking to bolster their bid for the top six with three points at Deepdale against Preston on Friday night.

Derby continued their cup exploits at the weekend with a 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Martyn Waghorn’s 70th-minute strike was the difference between the side, although Jaden Bogle was sent off for the Rams on a sour note. That result has set them up with a trip to West Brom or Brighton in the last 16. In the league, Derby occupy the final play-off spot in sixth place. They sit two points ahead of seventh-placed Bristol City and one point above Middlesbrough in fifth. Securing a play-off spot is the Rams’ main aim for the rest of the campaign, alongside their FA Cup run. In the league, Derby have won two, drawn one and lost two in their five games, but have only lost one of their last five away matches.

Preston have proven to be one of the most inconsistent sides in the league. The Lilywhites have taken an upwards turn in recent weeks, with impressive results at QPR and Stoke City. Their 2-0 win over the Potters at the weekend has left them in 16thplace, but 12 points clear of the relegation zone. After finishing seventh last season, many expected Alex Neil’s sie to feature higher up the table, however a slow start to the season and lots of injuries have hampered their season. In January, Preston have signed two young players from the lower leagues, Brad Potts and Jayden Stockley. Both were on target in their debut win over QPR, whilst Potts was also on the scoresheet against Stoke.

Darren England is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 14 second-tier matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 41.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 60+ total points for this fixture.

Preston haven’t won at home in their last four outings, but have picked up two fantastic results in the last couple of weeks. Derby have dropped a few points lately and will want to put that run to an end. I’m going to plump for a drawn in this one, as Preston seem to have turned a corner.

Preston North End vs Derby County will be televised live on Sky Sports Football in the UK with kick off at 19:45 GMT.

Prediction: Preston North End 1-1 Derby County

Suggested Tips –  Preston North End vs Derby County – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Draw 1-1 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Jack Marriott – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Preston North End vs Derby County – (SKYBET):

  • Popular RequestABets – Harry Wilson to score from outside the area and Preston to miss a penalty  – 125/1.
  • Popular RequestABets – Marriott to sore first and Pearson to be shown the first card – 40/1.
  • RequestABet Specials Up to 10/1 – Over 1.5 goals, Marriott 1+ shots on target, 6+ match corners and 20+ match booking pts – 1/1. (NAP).

Liverpool vs Leicester City
Wedne
sday 30th January 2019
FA Premier League, Anfield

Live on BT Sport 1 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Liverpool vs Leicester: Liverpool will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points when they take on Claude Puel’s Leicester City at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s side enjoyed a weekend’s rest after crashing out of the FA Cup in the third round against Wolves. Despite that break, the Reds are expected to be without Virgil van Dijk, who will miss the game through illness. It will be the first game the Dutch defender has missed in the Premier League season, having been an ever-present this campaign. The Reds won their last outing 4-3 against Crystal Palace, coming back from behind. That display is the first real signs of cracks in Liverpool’s defence, which could be a concern, especially with van Dijk missing. With City losing to Newcastle on Tuesday night, Liverpool’s lead remained at four points. This game, therefore, gives the Reds a chance to move six points clear – an opportunity they won’t want to miss.

Puel comes into this game under pressure, after a run of just three wins in 11 games. They will be hoping to benefit from a weekend off, after losing to Newport in FA Cup third round. Last time out, they lost 4-3 to Wolves in a dramatic encounter. Despite coming from behind three times, Leicester were unable to take a point from the match, which will worry Puel. That result did nothing to help Puel’s popularity amongst the Foxes’ supporters, who seem to be adamant it’s time for a change. With Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham all up in Leicester’s next three games, it could turn out to be make or break for the Frenchman.

Martin Atkinson is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 14 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 33.9. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Liverpool will be desperate to take advantage of City dropping points, which makes it even more likely they will win. I can’t see Klopp’s side letting up, with a seven-point lead at stake. Therefore, I’m back the Reds for three points.

Liverpool vs Leicester City will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 1 with kick-off at 20:00 GMT.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Leicester City
