Cardiff City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Friday 30th November 2018
FA Premier League, Cardiff City Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Main Event – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Cardiff vs Wolves: Cardiff City will be looking to aid their bid for Premier League survival when they take on fellow top-flight newcomers Wolves.

Neil Warnock’s side sit 19th in the Premier League table on eight points but are just one point adrift of safety. The Bluebirds have picked up seven of their eight points at home so far this season. That proves what many thought before a ball was kicked; their survival will depend on their form in South Wales. Surprisingly, Cardiff have conceded the second highest amount of goals at home this season (14). Only Fulham (15) have leaked more, although they have played one less match infront of their own crowd. Cardiff’s main issue, however, has been scoring goals. Midfielder Callum Paterson has been turned into an emergency make-shift striker in recent weeks. The Scotsman has scored three goals as a frontman, which makes him their top goalscorer.

Wolves have been on a very poor run of form, which has seen them slip closer to the relegation zone. After a strong start to the campaign, Nun Espirito Santo’s sides are six games without a win, losing five of those. Last weekend they were humbled by Huddersfield Town at Molineux as they came away with a 2-0 win. It was a poor showing from Wolves, which has seen calls for a change in tactic. Nuno has often stuck with a rigid 3-4-3 system, but some fans have suggested bolstering the midfielder by adding an extra man in the middle.

These two sides produced one of the most dramatic games in the Championship last season. Then league leaders Wolves won 1-0, with Cardiff missing not one, but two penalties in stoppage time at the end of the game.

Andre Marriner is the referee for this game. The Englishman has officiated 11 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 30. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

If this game is anything like last season, both sets of fans will be in for a treat. Both of these sides are struggling for form, and that makes me think this one could end level.

Cardiff City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event with kick-off at 20:00 GMT.

Prediction: Cardiff City 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Match Betting Preview - Tottenham Hotspur vs Inter Milan. Wednesday 28th November 2018, UEFA Champions League, Group B Qualifier, Wembley Stadium. Live on BT Sport 3 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Inter Milan
Tuesday 18th September 2018, Wembley Stadium
UEFA Champions League – Group B Qualifier

BT Sport 3 – 20:00 GMT.

Tottenham will host Inter Milan in UEFA Champions League action as they must win to keep their European dreams alive.

Wembley Stadium will be the stage as Mauricio Pochettino’s side will need all three points in Group B. The visitors will be a tough outfit for the North London club, who drew 1-1 with Group leaders Barcelona in their last Champions League match.

Tottenham are favourites for this match and are priced at 3/4 by SkyBet. They enter the match on the back of an enthralling 3-1 victory over rivals Chelsea in the Premier League. However, their odds don’t reflect their performances in this competition as they have only managed four points from four matches. Their previous match was a late brace from Harry Kane revive Spurs as they narrowly defeated PSV at home. Kane is the star man at Wembley, scoring plenty of times for club and country. He is priced at 11/4 to break the deadlock.

Kane will be joined by an impressive attacking arsenal that also contains Christian Eriksen. The Dane has been in top form of late and is a danger from set pieces. Eriksen is 11/4 to score anytime.

Spurs have leaked goals in this competition with nine conceded from four matches. The last time these two faced, they conceded two in the last five minutes to Mauro Icardi and Matias Vecino. For Spurs to win and both teams to score, SkyBet are offering 21/10.

Inter Milan enter this match knowing a win would see them qualify and are priced at 10/3 to do so. Their previous UCL match saw them draw with Barcelona as talisman Mauro Icardi grabbed his third of the competition. The Argentinian caused many issues for Spurs in their previous encounter and is 11/2 to score first – a tempting price.

Despite only scoring five goals from four appearances, the Italian’s defence has been solid with five goals conceded. If they can silence the Spurs team and crowd and keep a clean sheet, then you could be getting odds of 5/1 on SkyBet for backing it.

The referee for this match will be Cüneyt Çakır. The Turkish official is a no-nonsense style referee so expect cards.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Inter Milan will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 3 and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 2 – 1 Inter Milan

The home side are fortunate to have the attacking players they do in a situation like this. Tough match to call.

Match Betting Preview - Stoke City vs Derby County. Wednesday 28th November 2018, SkyBet Championship, BET365 Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Main Event - Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT.

Stoke City vs Derby County
Wednesday 28th November 2018
SkyBet Championship, BET365 Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Football – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Stoke City will host promotion hopefuls Derby County in midweek SkyBet Championship action.

Stoke are still struggling to climb up the table despite the strength of their squad. Meanwhile, Derby are also trying to find some consistency to put pressure on the top two.

Stoke are priced at 11/8 to win this Wednesday evening. The Potters have become a frustrated outfit so far with four draws in their last five matches. The odds on yet another draw in this match are 23/10. They have not been the most exciting team to watch either with seven of their last eight matches having under 2.5 goals. The odds on another under 2.5 goals match is 8/11.

Going forward, Stoke will be hoping Benik Afobe can add to his tally this week. The striker is currently on 4 goals and two assists for the season and is 4/1 to score first. Gary Rowett’s side have taken a while to warm up in matches, with four of their last six goals coming after the hour mark. SkyBet are offering 11/10 for more goals to be scored in the second half.

Derby are priced at a tempting 2/1 to get three points away from home. The Rams will be looking to make it two back to back wins as they continue to put pressure on the top spots. Jack Marriot has been the shining star in Lampard’s squad and has scored six goals in his previous eight games. The Striker is 7/4 to score anytime.

Despite their impressive attacking efforts with 27 goals in 18 matches, their defence has not been up to the same standard – especially on the road. With 21 goals conceded this season and no clean sheet away from home this season, I’d say backing both teams to score would be a clever bet. For Derby to win and both teams to find the net, you can get odds of 11/2.

The referee for this match will be Darren England. The official has averaged 38.6 booking points in his 11 Championship matches.

Stoke City vs Derby County will be televised on Sky Sports Football HD and kicks off at 19:45.

Prediction: Stoke City 1 – 2 Derby County

– Both sides seem to cancel each other out but with form, you have to tip the visitors.

Suggested Tips – Stoke City vs Derby County – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Derby County win 2-1 – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Stoke City vs Derby County – (SKYBET):

  • Player to score first – Jack Marriot – 5/1.
  • Half to have most goals- second half – 11/10.
  • Derby Price Boost – Derby to win and Both Team to Score – 11/2.

Match Betting Preview - Paris Saint-Germain vs Liverpool. Wednesday 28th November 2018, UEFA Champions League, Group C Qualifier, Parc De Princes. Live on BT Sport 2 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

Paris Saint Germain vs Liverpool
Wednesday 28th November 2018
UEFA Champions League – Group C Qualifier, Parc de Princes

Live on BT Sport 2 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Paris Saint-Germain vs Liverpool – Two titans of European football clash in UEFA Champions League action as Paris Saint-Germain host Liverpool.

The result will have a dramatic outcome for both clubs’ chances of progressing through the group stages. With just one point between the two teams and Napoli leading the group, all is at stake in this huge Group C match.

PSG are priced at 23/20 by SkyBet to win in front of a home crowd. The Ligue 1 leaders are tearing things up in the domestic competitions and have their eyes firmly set on European glory. Their attacking force could take a possible hit with both Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe both injury doubts ahead of the match. Edinson Cavani will be the talisman in their possible absence and is priced at 9/2 to break the deadlock.

Their defensive capabilities have been really tested in Group C, with seven goals conceded in 4 matches. That’s the same amount of goals they’ve conceded over 14 league matches. They face a frighteningly potent attack and are priced at a huge 4/1 to win to nil – worth backing if you think Klopp’s men will have an off day.

Liverpool are priced at 2/1 to come out victorious on Wednesday night. Klopp’s men will hope to repeat their performance in their last fixture against PSG where they ran out 3-2 winners. While they still boast an unbeaten record in the Premier League, their European campaign was slightly soured by a 2-0 loss to Red Star Belgrade in their last outing.

Roberto Firmino was on the scoresheet last time against the French outfit and is 2/1 to score anytime. With Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane also fit and reading for the match, they will be dangerous – especially on the counter attack.

When these two lock horns expect plenty of action and goals. SkyBet are offering 1/2 for over 2.5 goals and 2/5 for both teams to score. If you fancy some longer odds then both teams to score in both halves is 9/2.

The referee for this match will be Szymon Marciniak. With so much riding on the outcome of this fixture, it could turn into a feisty encounter.

The match will be televised on BT Sport 2 and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Paris Saint Germain 3 – 2 Liverpool

– Home advantage could be key as they must get a result. A reverse score line from the reverse fixture.

Match Betting Preview - Manchester United vs Young Boys. Tuesday 27th November 2018, UEFA Champions League - Group H Qualifier, Old Trafford. Live on BT Sport 1 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

Manchester United vs Young Boys
Tuesday 27th November 2018, Old Trafford
UEFA Champions League – Group H Qualifier

BT Sport 1 – 20:00 GMT.

Man United vs Young Boys: Manchester United will be looking to build on their win over Juventus last time out by beating Group H’s bottom side, Young Boys.

The Red Devils endured another frustrating afternoon at the weekend as they drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace. That result leaves them seventh in the table, seven points behind the top four. Jose Mourinho’s side struggled to break down a resilient Eagles side as Romelu Lukaku’s struggles infront of goal continued. The Belgian has now gone 11 games without a goal for United, which is a worrying stat.

Lukaku was restored to the starting side for this weekend’s game but was unable to find a breakthrough for side due to Palace’s deep defensive line. Marcus Rashford has been preferred in recent matches and he might be a better option against another side who are likely to park the bus. Juan Mata’s guile and creativity could be crucial as they look to unlock a tight Young Boys’ defence. Anthony Martial will be hoping to continue his fine form after scoring six times in his last eight games.

Young Boys have reached the group stages, or better, on five occasions in the last ten years, proving they are reasonably seasoned in this competition. Their best hopes of a result lay on the shoulders of Guillaume Hoarau, the much-travelled 34-year-old striker. The former PSG man scored 15 times in 20 starts for the club last year as they secured a first league title in 32 years. With the service of ex-Ajax winger Miralem Sulejmani from the left and former Newcastle right-back Kevin Mbabu on the right, Hoarau could prove a real danger to the United goal.

Felix Brych is the referee for this game. The German official plies his trade in the Bundesliga, officiating five top-flight games this season. During that time, he averaged 2.4 cards per game, the third-lowest number in the league. Therefore, I would recommend a maximum of 40+ total booking points for this fixture.

After working so hard to win in Turin, it would be typical of United to drop points against Young Boys. However, I think they get the win and I wouldn’t back against Lukaku getting back on the scoresheet.

Manchester United vs Young Boys will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 1 with kick off at 20:00 GMT.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Young Boys

Match Betting Preview - Lyon vs Manchester City. Tuesday 27th November 2018, UEFA Champions League - Group F Qualifier, Groupama Stadium. Live on BT Sport 3 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

Lyon vs Manchester City
Tuesday 27th November 2018, Groupama Stadium
UEFA Champions League – Group F Qualifier

BT Sport 2 – 20:00 GMT

Lyon vs Manchester City: Manchester City travel to France to take on Lyon knowing that three points will see Pep Guardiola’s men through to the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Premier League champions would also cement their spot as group winners with a victory. Guardiola’s men are in a ruthless mood at the minute, dispatching West Ham 4-0 at the weekend. Leroy Sane gabbed a brace but once against the star of the show was David Silva. The Spanish magician has been in scintillating form this campaign in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne. He’s been the hallmark of Guardiola’s reign at the Etihad and is without a doubt now one of the Premier League’s greatest ever players. Despite hitting 100 points last year, City now seem to have got better against all odds. This all without their best performer last season. They could seal the ultimate prize this season and win the Champions League. They are now favourites with most bookies, after Real Madrid’s poor start to the season.

Lyon upset all the odds in Group F’s opening round as they won 2-1 against City at the Etihad. In Ligue 1 they sit second in the table but are 15 points behind PSG in the table. Their biggest threats come from captain Nabil Fekir and Memphis Depay. The Dutchman has scored ten goals in 24 appearances this season, which sparked some talk of a return to Manchester United. The Red Devils have a buy-back clause in Depay’s contract, believed to be set around £40m. Lyon are in the driving seat to finish second in the group; they hold a three-point lead over Hoffenheim who play Shakhtar Donetsk, who could also still qualify.

Gianluca Rocchi is the referee for this game. The Italian plies his trade in Serie A, where has officiated five matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average card total of 4.4 per game. Therefore, I would recommend a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Nobody expected Lyon to win in Manchester but given the form of Guardiola’s side, it’s hard to predict anything but a City win. Given their defeat last time, I think it will only make them more determined to put things right.

Lyon vs Manchester City will be televised live on BT Sport 2 with kick off at 20:00 GMT.

Prediction: Lyon 1-3 Manchester City

Suggested Tips – Lyon vs Manchester City – (BET365)

Brentford vs Sheffield United
Tuesday 27th November 2018
SkyBet Championship, Griffin Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Football – Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT

Brentford vs Sheffield United: the visitors will be hoping to close the gap on the automatic promotion places when they take on Brentford at Griffin Park.

The Blades dropped two vital points at the weekend as they drew 2-2 at Rotherham United. Jamie Proctor snatched the Millers a deserved point with a 92nd– minute strike, despite United only regaining the lead in the 86th-minute. In truth, United were outplayed by their Yorkshire neighbours, with manager Chris Wilder admitting they were “off the pace” after the game.

The Blades have a tough run of games and have taken just two points from two derbies that they really should have won. They take on Leeds United, West Brom and Derby County in their next five games, which puts the onus on a positive result against the Bees. Mark Duffy’s recent performances have given cause for optimism. Despite being 33, Duffy seems to be producing his best form at Championship level. Whilst he only has three goals this season, he has an 85% pass accuracy, producing 1.4 key passes per game.

Brentford suffered another at the weekend, going down 2-1 against Middlesbrough. They have won just once in 12 matches in all competitions, which has undone their good work from earlier in the campaign. Thomas Frank has just one win in charge of the Bees; if they want to reach the play-offs that form will need to improve. That drop in form has correlated with Neil Maupay’s lack of goals. After starting the season with eight goals in six games the Frenchman has four goals in his last 11. Whilst that is hardly a goal drought, it underlines how he has suffered along with the team.

Stephen Martin is the referee for this game. The Englishman has officiated six games in the second tier this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 35.8. Therefore, I would advise a maximum 50+ total points for this fixture.

Sheffield United will be disappointed with their performance at the weekend, which usually follows a response. Wilder will have his team firing on all cylinders and that means they’ll probably come away with all three points.

Brentford vs Sheffield United will be televised on Sky Sports Football HD and kicks off at 19:45.

Prediction: Brentford 1-2 Sheffield United

Suggested Tips – Brentford vs Sheffield United – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Sheffield United win 2-1 – (link no longer available).

Burnley vs Newcastle United
Monday 26th November 2018
FA Premier League, Turf Moor

Live on Sky Sports Main Event – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Burnley will entertain Newcastle in Premier League action this Monday night.

Both sides are struggling for form this season and have just two wins each so far.

The hosts are priced at 9/5 by SkyBet for this encounter. The Burnley faithful will be hoping for a solid performance despite their lacklustre results at home. With just one win in five home matches they will have to tighten up defensively as they have conceded an average of two goals a game. They enter the match on the back of a clean sheet and have a confident Joe Hart between the sticks. Burley are priced at 15/8 to keep a clean sheet.

Going forward the hosts have found difficulty identifying their talisman. Johann Gudmundsson has two goals and four assists to his name so far this season. The Icelandic international is 3/1 to score anytime. Another attacker who is yet to showcase his full potential is Chris Wood. Always an aerial threat, Wood is priced at 14/1 to score a header – very good odds.

Newcastle are priced at 17/10, as the bookmakers struggle to find a favourite. Rafa Benitez has come under a lot of scrutiny this season however his team have begun to yield results. They managed their first and second victory of the season in their last two outings. Summer acquisition Salomon Rondon has finally found his feet in black and white and managed a brace in their last match against Bournemouth. The Venezuelan target man is priced at 11/2 to open the scoring.

However, Newcastle’s away form makes for dire reading. With 3 draws and 5 losses on the road, they are going to have to rely on their rigid defence to hold out the hosts. The Magpies have the best defence in the bottom 8 and are a tough side to crack. SkyBet have priced them at 10/3 to win to nil.

The referee for this match will be Anthony Taylor. The official has averaged 35 booking points in his 12 Premier League matches thus far.

Burnley vs Newcastle United will be televised on Sky Sports Main Event and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Burnley 1 – 1 Newcastle United 1

– It’s hard to split these two sides who are both defensively minded.

Wolves vs Huddersfield Town
Sunday 25th November 2018
FA Premier League, Molineux Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 16:00 GMT

Wolves will host Huddersfield Town this Sunday in Premier League action.

The hosts sit comfortably in midtable whilst the visitors are searching for a way out of the relegation zone.

Wolves are favourites for this encounter and are priced at 4/9 by SkyBet. Wolves record has been perfectly symmetrical so far this season with 4 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses. However, they have not found a victory in their last four matches and will be hoping for a quick start. Raul Jimenez is the main goal threat for the hosts and is Wolves top scorer this season with three goals. He is priced at 4/1 to score first.

Both teams have had a combined run of 14 matches that have had under 2.5 goals. For them to carry on their rigid run, SkyBet are offering 8/13.

Huddersfield will have a tough test on their hands and are priced at 8/1 to pull off a shock. With only 7 points from 12 matches and 22 goals conceded they will be fighting relegation all season. They have managed to salvage just two points on the road this season. Going forward they are also really struggling. They have scored six goals from six different scorers. Striker Steve Mounie will be their best chance at a goal and is a danger in the air. He is priced at 7/2 to score anytime and 11/1 to score a header.

However, past form does favour the visitors. In their last three meetings Huddersfield have kept a clean sheet and Wolves have conceded. The Terriers are 4/1 to keep a clean sheet.

The referee for this match will be Kevin Friend. The official has averaged 35 booking points in his 8 Premier League matches.

Wolves vs Huddersfield Town will be televised on Sky Sports Premier League and kicks off at 16:00.

Prediction: Wolves 2 – 0 Huddersfield Town.

– The hosts have the quality to open Huddersfield up. However, they have struggled to score goals in numbers.

The Gunners were left frustrated by Wolves before the international break as they were held to a 1-1 draw. In truth, it was one of the poorest displays from Unai Emery’s side in recent weeks. They’ve been on a fine run and are still 14 matches unbeaten in all competitions. With Tottenham hosting Chelsea on Saturday evening, one, or both, of those sides will drop points which will give Arsenal a chance to close the gap. A win at Bournemouth – coupled with a Tottenham defeat – would send them into the Champions League places ahead of the North London derby next weekend. Arsenal’s last league win came a month ago after three successive draws. That makes victory against a strong Bournemouth side imperative. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be hopeful of continuing his fine run of goalscoring form. The Gabonese forward has nine goals in 16 appearances this season.

Bournemouth have lost their last two games after an impressive start to the season. They were unfortunate to suffer defeat against Manchester United but they were off the pace against Newcastle United as they again lost 2-1. Prior to those results, Eddie Howe’s men had kept three consecutive clean sheets, whilst scoring seven goals. They are only four points behind Arsenal on 20 points and a win would move further cement their bid for a European place. Callum Wilson will be back in a Cherries shirt, buoyed by his debut goal for England. The pacey striker has seven goals in 14 appearances for Bournemouth this season and is one of the most in-form players in the division, at the moment.

Craig Pawson is the referee for this game. The Englishman has officiated eight top-flight games this season. In that time, he has accumulated 56.9 total booking points this season. Therefore, I would recommend a maximum 70+ total points this weekend.

This will be a tough game for Arsenal, Bournemouth have proved to be tough opposition for top six sides this season. As a result, I think this one could end as a high-scoring draw.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event with kick-off at 13:30 GMT.
