Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea: Tottenham play host to Chelsea knowing a win would see them leapfrog their London rivals and move them into third place.

Tottenham won their last four matches in all competitions prior to the international break. Mauricio Pochettino’s men have six of their last seven Premier League games, with that one defeat coming to Manchester City. Spurs have struggled in their last two meetings with the ‘big six’ having lost at home to both Liverpool and City this season, although they did win against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the opening weeks of the campaign. Spurs have shown they can be incredibly consistent against the smaller sides, even in the tough away games. In recent weeks they’ve beaten the likes of Brighton, Wolves and Crystal Palace away – all three of those sides have taken points from the ‘big six’ this season – which is an impressive feat. To become title challengers, they need to replicate that strength and resilience against their nearest rivals. Victory over unbeaten Chelsea would be a real statement.

Maurizio Sarri was left frustrated by his side’s lack of goal threat as they drew 0-0 with Everton at Stamford Bridge. Whilst Chelsea are unbeaten – alongside Liverpool and City – it’s game like Everton that will cost them the title. Against stubborn opposition, Chelsea lack a world-class striker. Alvaro Morata has improved this season and does have good potential, but he is not ready made to lead a title tilt. When you compare him to Sergio Aguero, Roberto Firmino or Harry Kane, he falls below their standard. If Eden Hazard doesn’t score in games of that nature, neither do Chelsea. Having finished last season in fifth, Chelsea have made fantastic strides under Sarri, which shouldn’t be forgotten. They weren’t expected to challenge for the title, so they are succeeding expectations.

Martin Atkinson is the referee for his game. The Englishman has officiated 11 top-flight matches this season, accumulating an average booking points total of 36.8. Therefore, I would suggest a maximum of 60+ booking points for this derby match.

Tottenham could really make a statement by ending Chelsea’s unbeaten run. They have only beaten the Blues in THREE of their last 19 meetings in all competitions. As a result, I can see this being a hard-fought draw.

Where to Watch: Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick off at 17:30 GMT.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Chelsea

Match Betting Preview - Brentford vs Middlesbrough. Saturday 24th November 2018, SkyBet Championship, Griffin Park. Live on Sky Sports Football – Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT.

Brentford vs Middlesbrough
Saturday 24th November 2018
SkyBet Championship, Griffin Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Football – Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT

Brentford and Middlesbrough will lock horns in SkyBet Championship action this Saturday.

The bookmakers are struggling to split this one, with neither side flourishing in recent form. Brentford have fallen far down the table in recent weeks with only seven points from their last ten matches. Meanwhile, the visitors have struggled to find the net with two 0-0 draws in their last four outings.

The hosts are priced at 13/10 to win this one by SkyBet. Despite their poor recent form, their home form has remained a positive for them. They have lost just one of their eight home matches and have averaged two goals per game. Neal Maupay has been their knight in shining armour as he leads the top scorer table with 12 goals this season. The French striker has made a good partnership with Ollie Watkins and Sergi Canos as an attacking force and is 4/1 to open the scoring.

As mentioned, Brentford’s attacking prowess has been impressive as they are the highest scoring team in the bottom half of the table. They have averaged 1.6 goals per match and are 5/4 to score 2+ goals this weekend.

Middlesbrough are priced at a very tempting 21/10. Tony Pulis’ side haven’t been as prolific as their opponents and have the lowest goal tally in the top seven. However, where they make up for the lack of goals is in their defence. They have conceded just eight goals in their 17 league matches this season. They have kept a clean sheet in 64% of their matches and are 5/2 to do it again.

Going forward, Britt Assombolonga has been their biggest attacking threat. The Congo international has five goals to his name and is 2/1 to score anytime.

The referee for this match will be John Brooks. The official has averaged 43.5 booking points in his 10 Championship matches. For 20+ booking points each team, SkyBet are offering 13/8.

Brentford vs Middlesbrough will be televised on Sky Sports Football HD and kicks off at 17:30.

Prediction: Brentford 0 – 1 Middlesbrough

– I can see this being a tight and tense affair. Middlesbrough will just nick it.

Suggested Tips – Brentford vs Middlesbrough – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Middlesbrough win 1-0 – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Brentford vs Middlesbrough – (SKYBET):

  • Player to score first – Jordan Hugill – 15/2.
  • Correct Score Group Betting – Middlesbrough to win 1-0, 2-0, or 2-1 – 3/1.
  • Player shots on target – Neal Maupay to have 2+ shots on target – 1/1.

Match Betting Preview - Rotherham United vs Sheffield United. Saturday 24th November 2018, SkyBet Championship, New York Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Football – Kick-Off: 12:30 GMT.

Rotherham United vs Sheffield United
Saturday 24th November 2018
SkyBet Championship, New York Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Football – Kick-Off: 12:30 GMT

Rotherham will entertain Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United in SkyBet Championship action this Saturday.

There are 12 points and 15 places between the two sides who have had fairly differing campaigns to date. The hosts have been battling it out near the bottom whilst the visitors have been in and out of the top two since the start of the season.

Rotherham are priced at 19/5 by SkyBet. Despite these high odds, Rotherham enter the match in decent form unbeaten in seven of their last eight matches. However, only one of those seven matches was a victory. Their home form makes for positive reading as they have won four of their last eight. Ryan Manning has been the most prolific for the Millers with four league goals this season. He is priced at 11/2 to score anytime.

Seven of the last eight encounters between these two at the New York Stadium has seen both teams score. Both teams to score is priced at 4/5.

Sheffield United are favourites for this match and are priced at 8/11. Their away form has been inconsistent with four losses and four wins. Billy Sharp has been the talisman this season with 10 goals this season. He has managed seven in his last eight and is priced at 4/1 to score first. David McGoldrick has also been an effective forward for Chris Wilder’s side this season with five goals and one assist. SkyBet have priced boosted David McGoldrick to score and Sheffield Utd to win to 5/2.

With this match being a derby, it has the potential to get rather feisty. The hosts have averaged 17.1 booking points whilst the visitors have averaged 15.9 booking points. 50+ booking points is 6/4 and a tempting market to either back as a single or add into a Request A Bet.

The referee for this match will be Peter Bankes. The official has not been shy with the cards this season, with an average of 60.9 booking points in his 11 Championship matches.

Rotherham United v Sheffield United will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Football HD and kicks off at 12:30.

Prediction: Rotherham United 1 – 3 Sheffield United

– Despite the added rivalry and derby atmosphere, Sheffield Utd have too much quality.

Suggested Tips – Rotherham vs Sheffield United – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Sheffield United win 3-1 – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Rotherham vs Sheffield United – (SKYBET):

  • Player to score a brace – Billy Sharp – 9/2.
  • Total Goals, Corners & Booking Points – Over 2.5 Goals, Over 10.5 Corners, and 35 Match Booking Points – 5/1. (NAP).
  • Sheffield United Price Boost – Sheffield United win and BTTS (YES) – 3/1.
  • Popular RequestABets – Sharp to score a header and Sheffield United to score a penalty – 18/1.
  • Cover bet – Correct Score – Rotherham to win 2-1 – 18/1.

Match Betting Preview - Ipswich Town vs West Bromwich Albion. Friday 23rd November 2018, SkyBet Championship, Portman Road. Live on Sky Sport Football – Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT.

Ipswich Town vs West Bromwich Albion
Friday 23rd November 2018
SkyBet Championship, Portman Road

Live on Sky Sports Football – Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT

Ipswich vs West Bromwich Albion: The visitors travel to Portman Road to take on struggling Ipswich, looking to build on their impressive 4-1 win over Leeds United.

The Baggies signed off for the international break in perfect style, a 4-1 home win over Leeds. Darren Moore’s side blew past the potential table toppers with goals from Hal Robson-Kanu, Dwight Gayle, Matt Phillips and Harvey Barnes. The on-loan Leicester City midfielder has shone this season and looks to have the potential to make it in the top flight. Barnes has been used from the left at times this season but it’s undoubted that his best position is central in the ‘number ten’ role. His speed of thought and play makes him a real prospect, at the age of just 20. West Brom’s win over Leeds took them back into the top six and up to fifth, ending a run of disappointing results. The Baggies had lost three of their last four games prior to that win.

Ipswich are yet to lose in two matches since Paul Lambert replaced Paul Hurst as their manager. Before the break, they were unlucky to come away with just a point against fellow strugglers Reading, twice taking the lead. They currently prop up the Championship table with 11 points from 17 matches, having won just once. Their main issue this season has been conceding goals. They’ve leaked 28 this season, only four teams have conceded more. In attack, they’ve struggled to replace the goals of Joe Garner and Martyn Waghorn, who were both sold in the summer. Therefore, if the Tractor Boys are to stay up, they will need investment in January.

Keith Stroud is the referee for this game. The Englishman has taken charge of four second-tier matches this season, accumulating an average booking points total of 27.5. As a result, I would recommend a maximum of 50+points for this fixture.

West Brom have so many goalscorers in their side and Ipswich leak them like a sieve. Therefore, I can only see Moore’s side coming away with three points.

Ipswich Town vs West Bromwich Albion will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Football with kick off at 19:45 GMT.

Predictions: Ipswich Town 1-3 West Brom

Suggested Tips – Ipswich Town vs West Bromwich Albion – (SKYBET):

  • Correct score: West Bromwich Albion win 3-1 – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Ipswich Town vs West Bromwich Albion – (SKYBET):

  • Gayle and Rodriguez to both score – 9/2.
  • Rodriguez to score first and WBA 2-1 – 33/1.
  • Barnes to assist 1+ goals – 10/3.

England vs Croatia
Saturday 18th November 2018
UEFA Nations League – Group A 4, Wembley Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Main Event, Kick-Off: 14:00 GMT

England vs Croatia – England face Croatia for the third time this year – this time at Wembley in their final UEFA Nations League match, knowing that a win will see them finish top of Group 4A.

The Three Lions warmed up for this match with a routine 3-0 win over the USA on Thursday night. Jesse Lingard and Trent Alexander-Arnold put them on their way in the first half before Callum Wilson grabbed a debut goal with ten minutes remaining. It was a strong performance from Gareth Southgate’s side, despite the number of changes he made. Lewis Dunk impressed on his full debut alongside Wilson, whilst Harry Winks dominated in midfield. Jadon Sancho, however, was once against the star of the show with a number of dazzling runs, particularly in the first half.

Sancho plays with an arrogance, but of a player that only the top performers possess. That can only bode well for England and for Borussia Dortmund as the 18-year-old develops. Southgate is likely to revert to his more senior players for England’s crucial match on Sunday. A win would see England top the group, but a defeat or score draw would see them relegated. 0-0 would see them finish second, in what is likely to be a manic 90 minutes. Harry Kane will lead the line looking to help the Three Lions avenge their World Cup semi-final defeat last July.

Croatia pulled off a dramatic 3-2 win over Spain on Thursday night after leading the game three times. That win means that Croatia can win also win Group 4A with three points at Wembley, but will be relegated if they lose or the scoreline finishes 0-0. Luka Modric, Dejan Lovren and Ivan Rakitic are just a few high-profile names that still turn out for the World Cup finalists, as they look to put England through more misery, this time on their own turf.

Anastásios Sidirópoulos is the referee for this game. The Greek official has officiated nine matches this season, accumulating an average booking points total of 39.4. As a result, I would recommend a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

This has ended up being a very important game for England, which people may not have expected when the competition began. Croatia are a strong side but do have some frailties which England can exploit. I’m backing Southgate’s side to nick a very tight encounter.

England vs Croatia will be televised live on Sky Sports Football with kick off at 14:00 GMT.

Prediction: England 2-1 Croatia

Suggested Tips – Croatia vs England – (SKYBET)

  • Correct score, England win 2-1 – 15/2.
  • Correct Score Group Betting – England to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 – 2/1.
  • Both Player to score – Harry Kane and Ivan Perisic to both score – 13/2.
  • FT Result and BTTS – Draw and BTTS YES – 10/3.
  • RequestABet Specials 80/1 and above – Kane to score a header and Sterling to score outside the area – 150/1
  • Popular RequestABets – Stones to score a header and Croatia to score a penalty – 200/1.

Wales vs Denmark
Friday 16th November 2018
UEFA Nations League – Group B 4, Cardiff City Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Football, Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT

Wales and Denmark go head to head in a winner takes all bout in League B Group 4 of the UEFA Nations League.

Wales are currently two points ahead of Denmark with this match being their last of the group stage, whilst Denmark still have a match against Ireland days after this Friday night showdown. If Wales win, they top the group and earn promotion to League A, whilst if Denmark win the same outcome. A draw would see it all come down to the Denmark vs Ireland match.

Wales are priced at 13/8 and slight favourites for the match, as priced by SkyBet. The talisman is back for the Welsh in the form of Gareth Bale and he will be a nightmare for the Danish defence. He is deadly from all angles, distances and aerially and is priced at 7/2 to break the deadlock. Another player who has been a shining light in the eyes of Ryan Giggs is Derby County loanee Harry Wilson. He scored a crucial free kick against Ireland and is dangerous from outside the area. He is priced at 3/1 to score anytime.

Wales shipped two goals in their trip to Denmark however looked strong in their most recent showing against Ireland. Denmark have some tricky forward players however it is likely Wales will line-up with five at the back. For the Welsh to keep a clean sheet is 6/4.

Denmark are priced at a tempting 19/10 given the last result between these two. Much like their opponents, Denmark also have a leading player in Christian Eriksen. The Tottenham man is 13/2 to score first. Despite only playing two matches, they are yet to concede a goal and have a rock between the sticks with Kasper Schmeical. Denmark are 7/2 to win to nil.

The referee for this match will be Slovakian Ivan Kružliak. Wales vs Denmark will be televised on Sky Sports Football HD and kicks off at 19:45.

Prediction: Wales 1 – 0 Denmark

– It should be a tight and tense affair. Gareth Bale could be the difference.

Suggested Tips – Denmark vs Wales – (SKYBET)

  • Correct score: 1-0 Wales – 11/2.
  • Wales to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 – 9/4.
  • Both teams to score in the 2nd half – 7/2.
  • First Goalscorer – Gareth Bale – 7/2.

Match Betting Preview - England vs USA, Thursday 15th November 2018, International Friendly. Live on Sky Sports Football, Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

England vs USA
Thursday 15th September 2018
International Friendly, King Power Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Main Event, Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

England vs USA: Wayne Rooney will make his final England appearance from the bench when Gareth Southgate’s side host the USA at Wembley for an international friendly.

England’s record all-time scorer will make his final Three Lions bow on Thursday, but will not start or captain the side. Rooney’s inclusion has been criticised by some former players, as Peter Shilton accused the FA of ‘cheapening the shirt’. This game offers a chance for fans to pay their respects to an England legend, whilst also raising money for a worthy charity. He isn’t taking the place of any young player, nor will his appearance change any records in respect to England caps. It is Rooney’s first cap since 11th November, just over two years ago.

Jadon Sancho is expected to be given his first England start, after impressing in last month’s double-header against Spain and Croatia. The young winger has starred this season for Dortmund and holds the most assists in the Bundesliga. Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson and the recalled Michael Keane are also expected to play some role in the match, although it’s unknown whether that will also be from the start. England fans will also be hoping to see Raheem Sterling replicate his scintillating form for his country. Sterling has been in terrific form once again for Manchester City, and supporters will be hoping to finally see the translate in the Three Lions shirt.

The USA travel to the capital looking to put their World Cup disappointments behind them. Manager Dave Sarachan is in the process of rebuilding his side, after their humiliating defeat to Trinidad and Tobago which saw them fail to qualify for Russia 2018. There are still some familiar faces in the USA squad, with former Aston Villa ‘keeper Brad Guzan, on-loan Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers and DeAndre Yedlin have all been included for this game. Their biggest danger man is Dortmund winger Christian Pullisic. The speedy winger will provide the USA’s biggest threat down the flanks as he looks to turn the game in his side’s favour.

Jesus Gil Manzano is the referee for this game. The Spaniard has taken charge of six La Liga fixtures this season, accumulating an average cards points total of 6.17. Therefore, I would recommend a maximum of 60+ total points for this friendly fixture.

England should run out comfortable winners, in all honesty. Whilst Southgate may tinker with his side to try different combinations, they should have enough to come away with the win.

England vs USA will be televised live on Sky Sports Main Event with kick off at 22:00.

Prediction: England 2-0 USA

Suggested Tips – England vs Switzerland – (SKYBET)

  • Correct score: 2-0 England – 17/2.
  • Scorecast Boost – Barkley to score first and England win 2-1 or 3-1 – 13/8.
  • Harry Kane to score a header – 8/1.
  • Raheem Sterling to score first – 11/2.

Manchester City vs Manchester United
Sunday 11th November 2019
FA Premier League, Etihad Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 16:30 GMT

Manchester City vs Manchester United: League leaders Manchester City will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League when they host city rivals Manchester United at Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side hold a two-point lead at the top of the table, with Liverpool and Chelsea just behind them. They prepared for this match in style, as Gabriel Jesus’ hat-trick secured a 6-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League. Raheem Sterling grabbed the headlines with his mesmeric run for City’s third of the evening as he continues his fantastic form at the start of the season. The Englishman has just signed a new deal with the club that will run until 2023. Guardiola’s main decision will be whether to restore Aguero back to the starting XI or stick with Jesus after his midweek treble. The Argentine will probably get the nod upfront; he has a fantastic record against the Red Devils, with seven goals in nine league meetings.

Manchester United will be looking to build on their dramatic midweek win over Juventus against their nearest rivals. Goals from Juan Mata and an Alex Sandro own-goal completed the turnaround, with both strikes coming in the final five minutes. Mourinho’s side have won five of their last six games after seemingly being set to lose his job not so long ago. Anthony Martial’s form has been a huge bonus, whilst Paul Pogba has also improved in recent weeks. If Mourinho is to truly win the fans back around, he could do with a positive result in this match. Nothing would give their supporters more satisfaction than another win over their noisy neighbours.

Anthony Taylor is the referee for this game. The Englishman has officiated 11 games in the top flight this season, accumulating an average booking points total of 36.4. Therefore, I would recommend a maximum of 50+ total points for this game.

This is sure to be a great spectacle, with Guardiola still yet to beat Mourinho at the Etihad in three meetings. We were treated to five goals last year and I reckon we might see a few more on Sunday.

Chelsea vs Everton
Sunday 11th November 2019
FA Premier League, Stamford Bridge

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 14:15 GMT

Chelsea vs Everton – Sarri’s Chelsea have been one of the three unbeaten Premier league sides this season and are real title contenders. Everton have been a rather creative outfit this season but have struggled to get a run of form going.

Chelsea are favourites for this match, priced at 2/5 to win by SkyBet. Their previous record against Everton makes for pleasant reading. The Blues have not lost to Everton at home since 1994. Eden Hazard has been the standout performer this season with seven goals to his name along with four assists. The Belgian is 7/2 to open the scoring. Alvaro Morata has also found his feet at Stamford Bridge and is 11/10 to score anytime.

Chelsea have won their previous six halves of Premier league football and are 2/1 to make it eight halves of football. Their defence has a lot of credit to take with only eight goals conceded this season so far. They’ve kept a clean sheet in 45% of their matches this season and are priced at 5/4 to keep another. However, they face a strong attacking side.

Everton are priced at 6/1 to cause an upset this weekend. Marco Silva’s side won their previous outing against Brighton and Hove Albion 3-1 with Richarlison getting a brace. A possible blow for the Toffees could see Ricarlison side-lined as he is a doubt for the match. Heads will turn to Gylfi Sigurdsson in the Brazilians absence. The Icelandic midfielder has five goals and two assists so far this season. SkyBet are pricing him at 12/1 to score from outside the area, a feat he very often accomplishes when scoring. Great odds.

Defensively Everton could improve. With 15 goals shipped in 11 matches, Chelsea will feel they are facing a vulnerable side. Everton are 2/5 to concede two goals.

The referee for this match will be Kevin Friend. The official has averaged 30 booking points in his 7 Premier League matches.

Where to Watch:  Chelsea vs Everton will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and kicks off at 14:15 GMT.

Prediction: Chelsea 3 – 1 Everton

– Chelsea will continue their goal scoring antics but Everton could give them a headache.

Suggested Tips – Chelsea vs Everton – (BET365)

Liverpool vs Fulham
Sunday 11th
 November 2018
FA Premier League, Anfield

Live on BT Sport 1 – Kick-Off: 12:00 GMT

Liverpool will host Fulham in Premier League action this Sunday lunchtime.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are knocking on the door of league leaders Manchester City alongside Chelsea, so three points is vital for their title bid. Meanwhile, Fulham are currently rock bottom of the league with 5 points from 11 matches.

Liverpool are backed as heavy favourites by SkyBet, who have priced them at 1/10. The Reds will be looking to bounce back from a very disappointing result midweek against Red Star Belgrade in the UEFA Champions League. Their front three has continued to impress his season, however have been a little less prolific. The player with the most goals so far is Sadio Mane with six to his name. He is priced at 7/2 to break the deadlock.

Their defensive record at home has been exemplary. With a rate of just 0.2 goals conceded per home match, they will be looking at Fulham as another great opportunity for a clean sheet. SkyBet are offering 4/6 for Liverpool to keep a clean sheet and great odds of 8/11 to win to nil.

Fulham have a tough test on their hands as they are priced at a huge 25/1 to come out victorious. With a run of six straight defeats, it’s been a bleak time for the football club and their record against Liverpool doesn’t help their cause. In their last four matches against them they’ve conceded an average of 3.5 goals. Their record on the road this season has been poor too, with just one point claimed from a possible 18. They have been behind in 50% of their away matches at half-time. For Liverpool to win both halves you get odds of 8/13.

If Fulham are in a chance of finding the net then Aleksandar Mitrovic is their best chance of doing so. The striker has bagged five this season and is a physical, problematic striker for defenders to deal with. He is priced at 7/2 to score anytime.
