Tottenham Hotspur vs Ajax
Tuesday 30th April 2019
UEFA Champions League, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Live on BT Sport 2 HD – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

It’s the tie that really is capturing the imagination of every football fans across the globe.

Tottenham are hosting Ajax at the new White Hart Lane in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final match-up. Spurs overcame Manchester City in incredible fashion to advance to this round qualifying with away goals in a 4-4 aggregate score line. Meanwhile, Ajax have been blitzing everyone in their path, with Juventus their most recent victims with a 3-2 aggregate score.

Tottenham are slight favourites for this first-leg match and are priced at 7/5 to win by SkyBet. Spurs have defied the odds to reach this stage, with the squad and Mauricio Pochettino making this feat without Harry Kane. To make matters even harder, they will also be without Heung-Min Son who is suspended. It was in fact Fernando Llorente who grabbed the controversial winner against City so he and Lucas Moura will have to replace those rather large shoes.

The Brazilian is priced at 13/8 to score anytime whilst the towering Spaniard is priced at 11/1 to score a header.

Ajax are priced at 15/8 to win the match. The Dutch outfit have been undeniably fantastic this campaign. They have seen off Real; Madrid and Juventus to reach this stage and their attack is one of the scariest in Europe. Attacker Dusan Tadic has been sublime with his quick feet and whip of a left foot. The ex-Southampton man is price boosted at 5/1 to score first.

The visitors are priced at 4/1 to win and for both teams to score.

The referee for this match will be Spaniard Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz. The official is known for his no nonsense style of officiating however neither side has illustrated an aggressive style of play.

The match will be televised on BT Sport 2 HD and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Ajax

– A tough match to call. Both sides won’t want to lose their shape in the first leg. Cagey draw.

Manchester United vs Chelsea
Sunday 28th April 2019
FA Premier League, Old Trafford

Live on Sky Sports Premier League HD – Kick-Off: 16:30 BST

Manchester United vs Chelsea: It’s a winner-takes-all clash at Old Trafford on Sunday as Manchester United take on Chelsea following back-to-back league defeats.

It’s been a difficult few days for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. United’s 4-0 trouncing at Everton was then worsened by a 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City. The Red Devils were outclassed in their own back yard on Wednesday night, with David de Gea making two high-profile errors in the process. Seven defeats in nine games is a shocking run, which has seriously damaged United’s hopes of a top-four finish. Surprisingly, they still have some hopes of rectifying the situation but this game is a must win. Solskjaer’s side are three points behind the Blues, who occupy fourth place, with three games to go. A win would move the two teams level on points, although Arsenal would have the chance to move two points ahead, with only a couple of fixtures remaining.

Chelsea threw away the opportunity to lay their claim for fourth place on Monday night. After watching Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United lose over the weekend, Maurizio Sarri’s side drew 2-2 with Burnley in fitting style. That means they sit fourth, with three to play but it is still all to play for. On the road, the Blues have only won two of their last five league games, which is a concerning run of form. Whilst the title race has been at its brilliant best, the closest battle in seven years, the quality of the United, Arsenal and Chelsea, all vying for fourth is lower than normal. In any other season, each side would have little chance of making fourth but from an entertainment perspective, it’s great to see the results so tight.

Martin Atkinson is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 41 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 32.7. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

This match is a tough game to predict, with both sides very inconsistent. United’s confidence is on the floor after a shocking week, which could come back to haunt them. I think this one might end all square, with both sides too scared of losing.

Manchester United vs Chelsea will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League HD with kick off at 16:30 BST.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Chelsea

Leicester City vs Arsenal
Sunday 28th April 2019
FA Premier League, King Power Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League HD – Kick-Off: 12:00 BST

Leicester vs Arsenal: Arsenal will be hoping to bounce back from back-to-back defeats to reignite their push for a top-four finish when they take on Leicester City on Sunday.

The Gunners followed up their surprise 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday with a 3-1 midweek reverse at Wolves. Unai Emery’s side seem to have rediscovered their travel sickness after finding themselves second best to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side. Consecutive wins over Watford and Napoli had looked like ending their wretched away form but reality hit once again at Molineux. Those defeats have opened up the race for fourth spot once again, with Arsenal sat in fifth, a point behind Chelsea, with three games to go. The worrying thing for the Gunners is they’re back conceding goals after shipping six in their last two. With tricky away trips to Leicester, Valencia and Burnley still to come, their season’s success could be defined by their fixtures on the road.

Leicester’s hopes of finishing seventh remain in the balance after taking one point from their last two games. Brendan Rodgers’ side earned a respectable 2-2 draw with West Ham last time out after Newcastle had previously ended their four-game winning run. Jamie Vardy is enjoying Rodgers’ arrival and is in hot form. The Englishman has scored nine goals in his last ten matches including four in his last four. At the King Power, Leicester have won three of their last four games. The Foxes have only one win of their last 15 meetings with Arsenal but given the Gunners poor away form will give them confidence they can cause an upset.

Michael Oliver is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 41 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 33.7. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Arsenal’s poor run of the road leaves them vulnerable, especially against a side like Leicester who have so much pace on the counter-attack. I’m struggling to envisage Emery’s side winning this match and I think the Foxes will cause them enough problem to take a point.

Leicester City vs Arsenal will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League HD with kick off at 12:00 BST.

Prediction: Leicester City 2-2 Arsenal

Suggested Tips – Leicester City vs Arsenal – (BET365):

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Newcastle United
Saturday 27 April 2019
FA Premier League, Amex Stadium

Live on BT Sport 1 HD – Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT

Brighton and Hove Albion will host Newcastle United in Premier League action this weekend.

The hosts are in dire need of a win as they have Cardiff breathing down their necks on the other side of the relegation zone. Newcastle confirmed their Premier League status for next season however theta hasn’t stopped them performing well, on the back of two wins.

Brighton are slight favourites for this match with home advantage are and priced at 5/4 to win by SkyBet. The home side are in poor form heading into this one with five losses from their last six Premier League matches. Their most recent defeat came in a tight 1-0 loss to Tottenham. However, their home form would have them sitting 15th in the table, not a great feat but better than their actual situation.

Going forward, their talisman Glenn Murray has done everything he can with eleven goals scored this season. He is 7/5 to score anytime.

Newcastle are priced at 12/5 to get their second away win in a row. The Magpies secured their top flight status for another year with two wins in a row. They have somehow managed to same points, form and goals for and against (W11, D8, L16, GF35, GA44) as they did at the same stage last season. Eerie.

Striker Ayoze Perez has been in great form recently with four goals from his last two matches. He is price boosted to 11/2 to score and for Newcastle to win.

The referee for this match will be Mike Dean. The official has been by far the most card happy in the top flight with an average of 51.2 booking points per match. SkyBet are offering ADD for 40+ booking points.

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Newcastle United will be televised on BT Sport 1 HD and kicks off at 17:30.

Prediction: Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 Newcastle United

– The hosts have so much to play for, and home advantage could be the tipping factor.

Suggested Tips – Brighton and Hove Albion vs Newcastle United – (BET365):

Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United
Saturday 27 April 2019
FA Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League HD – Kick-Off: 12:30 GMT

Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United: Tottenham will be looking to re-establish their top-four hopes when they take on London rivals West Ham United.

Spurs bounced back to winning ways in midweek when they beat Brighton in midweek. Christian Eriksen’s late winner ensured Mauricio Pochettino’s side re-established third spot in the Premier League table with three games to go. Tottenham hold a three-point lead on Chelsea, who sit fourth, with the same number of games played. With a midweek clash against Ajax on the horizon, the Argentine chief may opt to rest a number of big names with that game in mind. Spurs’ form at the new stadium has been impressive to say the least. They have four wins under their belt, with eight goals scored and none conceded. That sort of form could be vital for next season as they look to build further momentum into the new season.

West Ham’s season is coming to a disappointing close after four defeats in their last five games. Those results have left the Hammers 11th in the table and eight points behind seventh-placed Wolves. A top-half finish would be deemed a success for Manuel Pelligrini’s side, especially given the injuries they have had to deal with. The Hammers haven’t won on the road in nine games, a run stretching back to the 27th December. In fairness, they have faced trips to Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge and now North London in their last three away games but that is still a poor run that they will be looking to improve upon.

Anthony Taylor is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 45 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 31.7. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Tottenham’s home form, coupled with West Ham’s dire away form should mean for a Spurs win. Pochettino’s men are playing well and still buoyant from knocking out Manchester City. That buzz should see them through until the end of the season and should get them all three points here.

Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick off at 12:30 BST.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 West Ham United

Suggested Tips – Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Tottenham Hotspur to win – 2-0 – (link no longer available).
  • First GoalScorer – Son Heung-Min – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United – (SKYBET):

  • Price Boost – Christian Eriksen to score outside the penalty area – 7/1.
  • Both Player to Score – Lucas Moura and Chicharito to both score – 6/1.
  • Popular Player Stats RequestABet – Llorente & Antonio to score a header – 50/1.
  • Yes or No ? – Q1 – Yes, Q2 – Yes, Q3 – Yes, Q4 – Yes, Q5 – Yes, Q6 – Yes – 50/1.

Match Betting Preview - Liverpool vs Huddersfield Town. Friday 26th April 2019, FA Premier League, Anfield. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 20:00 BST.

Liverpool vs Huddersfield Town
Friday 26th April 2019
FA Premier League, Anfield

Live on Sky Sports Premier League HD – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Liverpool will host relegated Huddersfield Town as they continue their final push for the Premier League title.

Manchester City’s victory against Manchester United in midweek means Liverpool went down to second place, however they still can win the league if their rivals slip up, so a win is vital. Meanwhile, the visitors don’t have much to play for as they sit rock bottom of the standings and are already relegated.

Liverpool are heavy favourites for this match and are priced at 1/14 by SkyBet to win. The hosts are in incredible form with nine straight victories in all competitions. However, this form has still not been enough for them to top the table at this time. They trail the leaders by one point with three matches left to go. Jurgen Klopp will want this game to bed in the first half and will need his attackers to score early. Sadio Mane has been electric this season with 18 goals. He is 3/1 to score first.

Huddersfield are priced at 28/1 to win. It has been an abysmal campaign for the Terriers who cannot wait for the final day of the season, however they will have to endure a tough evening this Friday. The visitors have lost 11 of their last 12 away matches in all competitions, so form isn’t even on their side. Going forward, they have been incredibly out of their depth without a recognised goal scorer. In their last outing they did manage to find the back of the net with Karlan Ahearne-Grant. He is 7/2 to score anytime.

The referee for this match will be Kevin Friend. The official has shown his no-nonsense side at times this season and has averaged 40 booking points per match in the top-flight. However, when these two met earlier in the season is was a rather tame affair with just 20 booking points. SkyBet are offering 2/1 for 40+ booking points.

The match will be televised on Sky Sports Premier League HD and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Liverpool 4-0 Huddersfield Town

– This should be a very easy evening for the hosts at Anfield.

Suggested Tips – Liverpool vs Huddersfield Town – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Liverpool to win – 4-0 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Sadio Mane – (link no longer available).
  • Away Win – Huddersfield Town to win – (link no longer available). (Outside Cover).

Suggested Tips – Liverpool vs Huddersfield Town – (SKYBET):

  • Price Boost – Mohamed Salah to score a brace – 11/4.
  • Price Boost – Virgil Van Dyke to score a header – 9/1.
  • Popular RequestABet – Mane & Salah to score and Henderson & Schindler to be carded – 100/1.
  • Goalscorer Treble – Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino – 7/2(NB).
  • Previous RequestABet Winners – Liverpool to score 2+ Goals, 5+ Liverpool corners and 20+ Huddersfield Town booking points – 2/1. (NAP).

  • RequestABet Specials 80/1 and above – Salah to score, Liverpool to score 4+ goals, 11+ Liverpool corners, Hogg to be carded and 30+ Huddersfield booking pts – 100/1.

Match Betting Preview - Manchester United vs Manchester City. Wednesday 24th April 2019, FA Premier League, Old Trafford. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 20:00 BST.

Manchester United vs Manchester City
Wednesday 24th April
The Premier League, Old Trafford
Sky Sports Premier League – 20:00 BST

Manchester United vs Manchester City: Manchester City can move back to the top of the Premier League table with three points against their arch-rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The champions will finally play their game in hand against their nearest enemy. Three points are a must for Pep Guardiola’s side to ensure they return to the league’s summit with only three games to play. City weren’t at their best on Saturday against Tottenham but came out 1-0 winners. That was an important win for the men in blue after their disappointment in the Champions League. With their fate in their own hands, this Manchester derby has so much importance if they’re to retain their crown.

With Kevin De Bruyne likely to miss the remainder of the season, it will be interesting to see if Guardiola sticks with Phil Foden in midfield, or opts for a more senior player. The Englishman scored his first Premier League goal against Spurs and didn’t look out of places amongst City’s other superstars. Fernandinho and Leroy Sane will both also be eying a starting birth, which could see Bernardo Silva move inside to accommodate the German.

Manchester United will be licking their wounds after getting hammered at Goodison Park. It was an embarrassing day the Red Devils as Everton ran out 4-0 winners. Several members of the squad are playing for their futures at Old Trafford, with a much-needed overhaul set to take place in the summer. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will use games like this to determine who is worthy of a place in his squad and who is out of their depth. Given the nature of Sunday’s defeat, there is no doubt United will do everything to try and restore pride against their noisy neighbours. Any talk of them taking it easy to prevent Liverpool winning the league is nonsensical and something Solskjaer won’t stand for.

Andre Marriner is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 37 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 30.9. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

City have to win this game to keep the pressure up on Liverpool. Neither side are blinking in the most dramatic title race in seven years, making every fixture a must win. United will be embarrassed after Sunday’s showing and will want to make amends. I think City’s better quality sees them edge this game but it should be a relatively tight affair.

Manchester United vs Manchester City will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event with kick off at 20:00 BST.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-2 Manchester City

Suggested Tips – Manchester United vs Manchester City – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Manchester City to win – 2-1 – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Manchester United vs Manchester City – (SKYBET):

  • Both Players to score – Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford – 15/2.
  • Scorecast Boost – Sergio Aguero to score first Manchester City to win 2-1 – 33/1.
  • RequestABet Specials 80/1 and above – Rashford & Aguero to score and Manchester Utd 2-1 – 100/1.
  • Yes or No? – Q1 – Yes, Q2 – Yes, Q3 – Yes, Q4 – No, Q5 – No, Q6 – No – 50/1.
  • Popular Player Stats RequestABets – Fernandinho to make 4+ tackles & 75+ completed passes – 11/1.

Match Betting Preview - Tottenham vs Brighton. Tuesday 23rd April 2019, FA Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 19:45 BST.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Tuesday 23rd April 2019
FA Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Sky Sports Premier League – 19:45 BST

Tottenham vs Brighton: Tottenham will be hoping to bounce back from their weekend defeat and establish their place in the Premier League top four when they take on relegation-threatened Brighton.

Spurs went down 1-0 away to Manchester City at the weekend, although they could have caused another upset against the champions. Three days on from their Champions League classic, Tottenham almost hit Pep Guardiola’s side on the break again but were this time thwarted by an in-form Ederson. The silver lining for Mauricio Pochettino’s team was that they were not the only side to drop points this weekend. Arsenal and Manchester United were both humbled, whilst Chelsea drew with Burnley at home, making it a good weekend for Spurs.

As it stands, they remain third in the table with their destiny in their own hands. They only have a one-point lead over Arsenal, however, having played the same numbers of games, so they can’t afford any more slip-ups in their remaining four games. Tottenham have won every game so far in their new stadium (3) and are yet to concede a goal.

Brighton stopped the rot at Wolves on Saturday with a 0-0 draw. That brought to a five-game losing run to an end, at just the right time. Chris Hughton’s side have slipped alarmingly down the table and are now only three points above Cardiff City, although they do have a far superior goal difference. Gals have been the issue for the Seagulls. They have become too reliant on Glenn Murray and the Englishman hasn’t scored in his last seven games. Only Huddersfield Town and Cardiff have scored fewer goals than Hughton’s side this season.

Chris Kavanagh is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 31 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 34.8. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

This game should be a fairly straight forward one. Although they lost at the weekend, Tottenham are in good form and have looked very strong in their new home. Brighton can’t score, or win, for toffee, especially on the road. Home win.

Tottenham vs Brighton will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Football with kick off at 19:45 BST.

Prediction: Tottenham 3-0 Brighton

Match Betting Preview - Brentford vs Leeds United. Monday 22nd April 2019, The Championship, Griffin Park. Live on Sky Sports Main Event - Kick-Off: 17:15 BST.

Brentford vs Leeds United
Monday 22nd April 2019
SkyBet Championship, Griffin Park

Live on Sky Sports Football HD – Kick-Off: 17:15 GMT

Brentford will host Leeds United in SkyBet Championship action this Monday evening.

The hosts have very little to play for as they sit comfortably in midtable in 15th position. Meanwhile, Leeds have it all to play for as they are still chasing an automatic promotion spot. They are current third and on the same points as Sheffield United who have better goal difference in second.

Brentford are priced at 11/4 to win by SkyBet, despite having home advantage. The Bees previous showing saw them draw with relegation battlers Millwall. The draw was made more impressive by the fact that their defender Henrik Dalsgaard got a red card in the 35thminute. Going forward they can be a threat and no one more than French striker Neal Maupay. The attacker has a whopping 23 goals this season and is 13/8 to score anytime.

Their reverse fixture with Marcelo Bielsa’s side earlier in the season saw them manage a 1-1 draw also. They are priced at 6/1 to repeat the scoreline.

Leeds United are priced at 1/1 to win the match. Bielsa’s side must redeem themselves after their embarrassing 2-1 loss to a 10-men Wigan side. Their previous outing gave them a golden chance to leapfrog Sheffield United for an automatic spot, but they failed. Striker Patrick Bamford has been impressive as of late and currently has nine goals for the season – with 3 from his last 3 matches. He is priced at 4/1 to open the scoring.

The referee for this match will be James Linington. The official is tagged for his no-nonsense style and has averaged 39.3 booking points this season. The last time these two met, there were fireworks and over 85 booking points were brandished. SkyBet are offering 2/1 for 60+ booking points.

Chelsea vs Burnley
Monday 22nd April
FA Premier League, Stamford Bridge
Sky Sports Premier League – 20:00 BST

Chelsea vs Burnley: Chelsea will be looking to reignite their push for a top-four finish after securing their place in the Europa League semi-final when they host Burnley on Monday night.

Maurizio Sarri’s side secured their spot in the last four with a 4-3 win over Slavia Prague. After racing into a 4-1 lead at the break, the Blues almost threw away their lead after conceding two quick-fire second-half goals. Pedro’s brace will have put him in contention for a starting spot against the Clarets, whilst Eden Hazard should start after being replaced with an hour gone. Chelsea head into this tie fifth in the table, level on points with fourth-placed Arsenal but they have played a game extra. That means their remaining four fixtures are must-win if they’re to have any hope of securing Champions League football through the league. With a crucial meeting against Manchester United on the horizon too, it’s a crucial run of games for the Blues.

Burnley have all-but secured their Premier League status for another year after beating Cardiff last weekend. Chris Woods’ brace lifted Sean Dyche’s side up to 14th in the table, eight points above the bottom three. The Clarets have won their last three games in all competitions, which is a good job with Chelsea, Manchester City, Everton and Arsenal to come in their final four matches. On the Road, they have lost three of their last six, winning two and drawing one. Dwight McNeil has really caught the eye this season, displacing Johann Gudmundsson from the side. The Clarets youngster has added a much-needed spark in wide areas, supplying great service for Woods and Ashley Barnes.

Kevin Friend is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 36 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 40. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Chelsea are good at home and don’t often slip-up against the smaller sides. Burnley are in good form but that has mainly come at Turf Moor. As a result, I’m going to back the hosts in this one.

Chelsea vs Burnley will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick off at 20:00 BST.
