Liverpool vs FC Porto
Tuesday 9 April 2019
UEFA Champions League, Anfield

Live on BT Sport 3 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Liverpool will host FC Porto in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League tie.

The hosts overcame tough opposition in Bayern Munich in the last round, with a 3-1 win in the second leg. Meanwhile, FC Porto surprised the bookmakers and beat AS Roma over two legs.

Liverpool are heavy favourites for this match and are priced at 3/10 to win the match by SkyBet. The Merseyside outfit are unbeaten in 14 matches and their last three home matches in the competition have seen them keep a clean sheet. Sadio Mane has been in inspired form as of late and grabbed an impressive brace away against Bayern Munich in the last round. He is 1/1 to score anytime.

Another threat to Porto’s defence is winger Mohamed Salah who has continued his scoring from last season and is 16/5 to break the deadlock.

FC Porto will still have nightmares from last season against the same opposition where they were thrashed in the knockout rounds. They are priced at a huge 9/1 to win. The Portuguese have also been in great form, with just one loss from their last ten matches in all competitions. Striker Moussa Marega has scored a penalty in two of their last three away trips. He is 4/1 to score anytime.

Porto have failed to score in two of their previous meetings with Liverpool. Liverpool are 1/1 to win to nil once again.

The referee for this match will be Spaniard Mateu Lahoz. The last time these two met in the second leg of their tie last year there was only 30 booking points. SkyBet are offering 13/8 for 60+ booking points.

Liverpool vs FC Porto will be televised on BT Sport 3 and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 FC Porto

– The hosts shouldn’t have any trouble against Porto in front of an Anfield crowd.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City
Tuesday 9th April, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
UEFA Champions League, Quarter-Finals

Live on BT Sport 2 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Tottenham vs Manchester City: Manchester City travel to Tottenham in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final, looking to inflict Spurs’ first defeat at their new stadium.

The champions warmed up for this all-English affair with a 1-0 FA Cup semi-final victory over Brighton and Hove Albion. Gabriel Jesus’ fourth-minute strike proved the difference, in a game where City failed to reach their usual high standards. The Brazilian has stood in for Sergio Aguero, who has missed the last two matches through injury. Pep Guardiola confirmed the Argentine forward could play in Tuesday’s showdown after the weekend win, so all eyes will be on the team sheets, come 7pm. The Citizens have won 13 of their last 14 matches in all competitions, with their 0-0 draw in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea their only blip. That relentless form seems them head away to Tottenham as clear favourites, having also beaten Spurs 1-0 away earlier in the campaign. Raheem Sterling could be a smart bet for first goal scorer. The Englishman has eight goals in his last seven games for club and country.

Tottenham will be hoping to make a mark in the first leg of this game, boosted by their arrival into their new home. They beat Crystal Palace in their stadium last time out, and have a full six days to recover since that fixture. Prior to that fixture, it was no wins in five league games, which has put their top-four place in jeopardy. Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate for his side to head to the Etihad, in two weeks time, with a lead, however slender that may be. In the previous round against Borussia Dortmund, Spurs blew away their German counterparts in the first leg which saw them through. Back-to-back clean sheets saw them win in Dortmund as well, but this will be a much tougher test.

Bjorn Kuipers is the referee for this fixture. The Dutchman has officiated seven top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 2.57 cards per game. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 40+ total points for this fixture.

Tottenham will be desperate to make this tricky for City and the atmosphere could play a huge roll in that. It’s likely to be a tight, tense affair, as most first legs are. As a result, I can see this playing out as a draw, which would still benefit City more.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City will be televised on BT Sport 3 and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Manchester City

Chelsea vs West Ham United
Monday 8th
 April 2019
FA Premier League, Stamford Bridge

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Chelsea and West Ham will battle in a feisty derby in the Premier League this Monday night.

The home side are still pushing for a top four spot in the league after their 3-0 win over Brighton in their previous outing. Meanwhile, The Hammers will want to make up for their 2-0 loss to Everton last time out.

Chelsea are favourites for this match and are priced at 2/7 to win by SkyBet. The home side have much more to play for than their mid-table opponents. They are currently fifth in the league, with a win possibly taking them to third. Their home form will give them confidence with six matches unbeaten at Stamford Bridge in the league. Attacker Eden Hazard has been the stand out performer with 14 goals and 12 assists. The Belgian is priced at 14/5 to score first. He is also part of the double-up boost for 2+ shots on target in the first half at 5/1.

When they met earlier in the season, it ended 0-0. SkyBet are offering 9/2 for another draw this time out.

West Ham are huge under dogs for this match and are priced at 9/1 to win. The visitors have been a formidable opponent to their top six opponents this season. They have managed 2 wins and 2 draws against the labelled top six this season. Talisman Marko Arnautovic has recently returned from injury and international break where he bagged himself a brace for Austria. He is 16/5 to score anytime.

The referee for this match will be Chris Kavanagh. The official has averaged 34.5 booking points this season in the top-flight. The last time these two met there were 30 booking points, however in a derby match it can get fierce.

Chelsea vs West Ham United will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League HD and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Cheslea 2-0 West Ham United

– The home side have a lot at stake and clearly have the more talented attackers.

Match Betting Preview - Watford vs Wolves. Sunday 7th April 2019, FA Cup Semi Final, Wembley Stadium. Live on BT Sport 2 - Kick-Off: 16:00 GMT.

Wolves vs Watford
Sunday 7th April 2019
The FA Cup, Semi-Final, Wembley Stadium

Live on BT Sport 2 – Kick-Off: 16:00 GMT

Watford vs Wolves: Two of the Premier League’s ‘best of the rest’ go head to head in the FA Cup semi-final with both sides looking to reach their first cup final this century.

Watford come into this game just one place and point behind Wolves in the Premier League, sat in eighth position. They come into this fixture after condemning Fulham to relegation in midweek with a 4-1 win at Vicarage Road. Abdoulaye Doucoure grabbed the opener in that match, his second goal in as many games. The French powerhouse has been crucial for Watford this season, catching the eye of a number of potential top-four suitors, as well as abroad. Will Hughes and Gerard Deolufeu have also been in fine form lately, Hughes was also on the scoresheet on Tuesday night, thumping in a stunning volley to make the score 2-1. The pitch at Wembley will suit Watford’s style of football massively, as it will Wolves, which should make for a very entertaining cup tie.

Wolves come into this match after yet another famous scalp at Molineux. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have now taken 13 points from top-six opposition this season, following their 2-1 win over Manchester United. It means that wolves have faced the Red Devils three times this season and haven’t lost, winning twice, once in the last round of this competition. Raul Jiminez and Diogo Jota’s partnership in attack has proved fruitful since their change to a 3-5-2 formation. The ‘little and large’ combo has seen the pair score in five of Wolves’ last seven league fixtures and they should lead the line once again on Sunday.

Michael Oliver is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 39 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 34.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

This game will be a really close call, with both sides very similar in ability and style of play. Both teams will suit the big Wembley pitch and it could go right down to penalties to decide the winner. In full-time, I’m going to go for a draw, but I think Wolves could sneak it in extra-time, or from 12 yards.

Watford vs Wolves will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 2 with kick off at 16:00 GMT.

Prediction: Watford 1-1 Wolves

Suggested Tips – Watford vs Wolves – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Draw – 1-1 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Raul Jimenez – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Watford vs Wolves – (SKYBET):

  • To Win in Extra Time – Wolves – 10/1
  • Both Players to Score – Diego Jota and Gerard Duelofeu – 17/2.
  • RequestABet Specials Up to 10/1 – 4+ corners each team and 20+ booking points each team – 13/2.
  • Popular Player Stats RequestABets – Deeney to score a header and Neves to score from outside the area  200/1.
  • Popular Player Stats RequestABets – Jimenez to score a header and Watford to score a penalty 80/1.

  • Yes or No? – Watford v Wolves – Q1 – No, Q2 – No, Q3 – Yes, Q4 – Yes, Q5 – Yes, Q6 – Yes – 66/1.

Match Betting Preview - Everton vs Arsenal. Sunday 7th April 2019, FA Premier League, Goodison Park. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 14:05 GMT.

Everton vs Arsenal
Sunday 7th
 April 2019
FA Premier League, Goodison Park

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 14:05 GMT

Everton vs Arsenal: Arsenal will be hoping to grasp their hold on a top-four spot by extending their lead over the chasing pack when they take on Everton at Goodison Park.

The Gunners can move up third with three points on Merseyside, opening a three-point lead on fifth-placed Chelsea. They moved back into the top four on Monday night, after a confident 2-0 win over Newcastle. The departing Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette were on the scoresheet to record a record 10th straight home win at the Emirates. On the road, Unai Emery’s team are unbeaten in the league since the beginning of February, which underlines their recent improvement. It’s a total of six games unbeaten for Arsenal, in which they have won five times. Lacazette has scored five goals in his last ten games, and the Frenchman’s overall game has been in sensational form of late.

Everton’s have endured an upturn in form lately, beating West Ham 2-0 away last time out. That followed up an important win over Chelsea prior to the international break. Those victories have eased the pressure on Marco Silva, with the Toffees sat 10th in the table. With Wolves and Watford both in action at Wembley, this offers a good opportunity for Everton to gain a march on their rivals, in a bid to finish seventh and be dubbed ‘the best of the rest’. Back-to-back clean sheet have also come as a boost to Silva’ side. They’ve now recorded four shut outs in their last five games.

Kevin Friend is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 34 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 38.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Arsenal’s strong recent form will be put up to the test on Sunday. In years gone by, Everton have profited from this fixture and will be buoyant after back-to-back victories. I’m going to back the Gunners for a slender win, but this could end in a draw.

Everton vs Arsenal will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick off at 14:05 BST.

Prediction: Everton 1-2 Arsenal

Match Betting Preview - Manchester City vs Brighton. Saturday 6th April 2019, FA Cup Semi Final, Wembley Stadium. Live on BBC One - Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT.

Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Saturday 6th April 2019
The FA Cup, Semi-Final, Wembley Stadium

Live on BBC One – Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT

Manchester City vs Brighton: Manchester City will be hoping to keep alive their hopes of the quadruple when they take on Brighton in the semi-final of the FA Cup at Wembley.

City claimed their first trophy of the season here in February, defeating Chelsea on penalties in the Carabao Cup final on that occasion. They’ll once again be back at the national stadium, looking to make another mark on their hopes of winning all four major trophies on offer to them. In the league, things have been near perfect of late. Wednesday’s routine 2-0 win over Cardiff City ensured an eighth straight Premier League win as they maintain their one-point buffer over Liverpool. Pep Guardiola handed Phil Foden his first league start against the Bluebirds and the youngster caught the eye in midfield. Although he is expected to drop out for this game, it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see him off the bench. The Englishman has featured for City in every round of the cup to date.

Brighton are in woeful form, which has seen them drop to within just five points off the relegation zone. Chris Hughton’s side sit 15th in the table on 33 points with seven league fixtures remaining. Goals have been the main problem for the Seagulls. They haven’t scored in either of their last two games, with only Huddersfield, Fulham and Newcastle scoring less than them in the league. The FA Cup has been a welcome distraction, although they have only beaten one fellow top-flight opponent on their route to the last four. As a result, a step up to the reigning Premier League champions is as tough as it comes, which could see them struggle.

Anthony Taylor is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 43 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 32.2. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Although the FA Cup often throws up all manner of shocks, for me, there is only one winner here. Brighton may be able to frustrate City for large portion of the game, but they will eventually break through and go onto the yet another final.

Manchester City vs Brighton will be televised live in the UK on BBC 1 with kick off at 17:30.

Prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Brighton & Hove Albion

Match Betting Preview - Norwich City vs Queens Park Rangers. Saturday 6th April 2019, The Championship, Carrow Road. Live on Sky Sports Main Event - Kick-Off: 17:30 GMT.

Norwich City vs Queens Park Rangers
Sunday 6th April2019
The Championship, Carrow Road

Live on Sky Sports Football/Sky Sports Main Event– Kick-Off: 12:30 GMT

Norwich vs Queens Park Rangers: League-leaders Norwich City will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Championship table when they take on managerless QPR at Carrow Road.

The Canaries look to have one foot in the top flight already, after a run of seven consecutive wins. Daniel Farke’s side have opened up a seven-point lead on third-placed Sheffield United, with seven matches remaining. Throw in the fact Norwich also have the easiest run-in of the three main promotion contenders and it’s easy to see why they’re favourites to reach the Premier League. Norwich haven’t lost at home this year in the league this year, dropping just two points in total. That has been the backbone of their title push which has put them to within a few wins of a Premier League return. Teemu Pukki has failed to score in his last six games for club and country, his biggest drought of the season. I fancy he might put that right against a poor Rangers side, who leak goals for fun.

QPR sacked Steve McClaren on Monday, with former Watford midfielder John Eustace taking over for this match. They have won just once of their 15 games, which has seen them plummet down the league table. They head to the league leaders 17th in the table, eight points above the bottom of the table. QPR’s last away win came back in December 2018, which underlines how poor their form has been. They’ve conceded six goals in their last three games and only four sides have conceded more goals in the league this campaign than R’s, ahead of a trip to the division’s top scorers.

Scott Duncan is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 37 second-tier matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 34.1. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

This one seems quite straight forward. Norwich are the best side in the league and score the most goals, whilst QPR are in horrific form and leak goals for fun.

Norwich City vs Queens Park Rangers will be televised live on Sky Sports Football with kick off at 12:30 GMT.

Prediction: Norwich City 3-0 Queens Park Rangers

Suggested Tips – Norwich City vs Queens Park Rangers – (BET365)

  • Correct Score – Norwich City win 3-0 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Emilano Buendia – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Norwich City vs Queens Park Rangers – (SKYBET)

  • Price Boost – Teemu Pukki to score a brace- 15/2.
  • To Score 3+ Goals – Norwich City – 11/8.
  • Popular Player Stats RequestABets – Hernandez to score from outside the area and Norwich to score a penalty – 66/1.
  • Norwich to score 2+ goals, Pukki 1+ shots on target & Hernandez 1+ shots on target and 6+ match corners – 6/4. (NAP).

Match Betting Preview - Southampton vs Liverpool. Friday 5th April 2019, FA Premier League, St Mary's Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

Southampton vs Liverpool
Friday 8 April 2019
FA Premier League, St Mary’s Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League HD – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Southampton vs Liverpool: Liverpool will be hoping to move back to the top of the Premier League table when they travel to St Mary’s on Friday night to face a resurgent Southampton.

The Reds scored yet another late winner last time out, this time against Tottenham as they ran out 2-1 victors. A late own goal from Toby Alderweireld handed them the points, to keep them on track with Manchester City at the league’s summit. It was the first time in 12 matches Sadio Mane wasn’t on the scoresheet. The Malian has been in red hot form, leading the way in Liverpool’s bid for a first ever Premier League title.

Despite netting 20 goals this season, Mohamad Salah’s recent form could give Jurgen Klopp cause for concern. The Egyptian winger is now eight games without a goal, which is his worst run in a Liverpool shirt. On the road, the Reds have won just one of their last four away league games, although three of those have been draws. It’s those dropped points which have handed the initiative to City, as opposed to their record at ‘fortress’ Anfield.

Southampton took a massive step to securing their Premier League status for another year, beating Brighton 1-0 at the Amex on Saturday. That win leaves the Saints 16th in the table, but they now hold a five-point lead over Cardiff City, with a game in hand. With Fulham and Huddersfield both relegated, it looks like a four-team battle to avoid that final spot. However, of the four sides, it’s Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men who are in the best form, winning three of their last five fixtures. At home, they’ve only lost one of their last five fixtures, winning their last two, which included an impressive victory over Tottenham. Liverpool should reference that result as a warning sign, otherwise, they could see themselves on the wrong side of an upset.

Paul Tierney is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 31 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 37.9. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

If Liverpool were to drop points, it would really open the chance for Manchester City to claim a second consecutive title. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Southampton get something, they’re in good form, especially at home. I’m going to back Klopp’s side to just edge this one, but don’t be shocked if it ends all square.

Southampton vs Liverpool will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick-off at 20:00 GMT.

Prediction: Southampton 1-2 Liverpool

Match Betting Preview - Wolves vs Manchester United. Tuesday 2nd April 2019, FA Premier League, Molineux Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT.

Wolves vs Manchester United
Tuesday 2 April 2019
FA Premier League, Molineux Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League HD – Kick-Off: 19:45 GMT

Wolves will face Manchester United in Premier League action this Tuesday evening.

Both teams have had very little time for rest as they featured on Saturday. The hosts lost 2-0 away at Burnley whilst Manchester United won 2-1 at home to Watford.

This match will be the third time these two meet this season; with the reverse in the league and FA Cup quarter-final seeing United win neither match.

Wolves will have confidence after their FA Cup win against United and are priced at 14/5 to win by SkyBet. Wolves have continued their impressive form in their first season back in the top-flight. One of the main reasons for this success is loanee Raul Jiménez. The Mexican striker has 12 goals for this season and is 21/10 to score anytime.

Wolves are in some really impressive form at Molineux, with six wins in the league seven home matches in all competitions. They are 13/2 to win and both teams to score.

Manchester United will want revenge on Wolves and are priced at 1/1 to win. Manchester United have shown vast improvement under, now permanent, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and their attack has become much more free-flowing. Striker Romelu Lukaku has been a player to show more composure in front of goal and has 12 goals for the season. He is priced at 7/2 to score first by SkyBet.

The visitors are the team in the league with the most matches with over 2.5 goals, with 22 of their 30 outings. SkyBet are offering odds of 9/4 for Manchester United to win and Over 2.5 Goals.

The referee for this match will be Mike Dean. The official has averaged 51 booking points this season. When these two met a few weeks ago in the FA Cup, 80 booking points were brandished.

The match will be televised on Sky Sports Premier League HD and kicks off at 19:45.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Manchester United

– History in is favour of the hosts, who will likely frustrate United on Tuesday.

Suggested Tips – Wolves vs Manchester United – (SKYBET):

Arsenal vs Newcastle: Arsenal will be hoping to move up to third in the Premier League table with a home win over Newcastle on Monday night.

The Gunners sit just one-point behind third-placed Tottenham Hotspur, ahead of their trip to Anfield on Sunday. It’s been a long break for Unai Emery’s side, after they last featured on April 14, some 19 days ago. Their last Premier League outing was against Manchester United, where they came out 2-0 victors. That huge victory lifted Arsenal back into fourth, with just eight games remaining. A 3-0 Europa League triumph over Rennes also meant that confidence was high heading into the international break. Mesut Ozil played crucial roles in both of those matches, in his first back-to-back starts of 2019. Could this be a sign the German is finally winning over Emery? Who knows? However, I would expect him to feature once again against Newcastle on Monday. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have both benefited from Ozil’s playmaking, in this 3-4-1-2 system. Aubameyang has three goals in his last two games, as a result.

Newcastle come into this match 13th in the Premier League table, seven points above the relegation zone. Rafael Benitez’s side have been in good form recently, with just one defeat in their last six games. Last time out, they recorded a 2-2 draw away with Bournemouth, thanks to a late Matt Ritchie strike. The Magpies strong recent run has lifted them clear of danger, with only Arsenal and Liverpool still to play from the top six. They haven’t won away from home this year, however, which could a course for concern. Salomon Rondon will be hoping to secure his future at St James’ Park beyond this season. The Venezuelan striker has three goals in his last three games and five in his last nine matches.

Anthony Taylor is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 43 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 32.2. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Arsenal’s terrific home form has made the Emirates one of the toughest places to visit in the Premier League. Newcastle’s form has improved recently, but I still think the Gunners will be too strong for them.

Arsenal vs Newcastle will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League with kick-off at 20:00 BST.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Newcastle
