Match Betting Preview - Chelsea vs Eintracht Frankfurt. Thursday 9th May 2019, UEFA Europa League - Semi-Finals, 2nd Leg, Stamford Bridge. Live on BT Sport 3 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

Chelsea vs Eintracht Frankfurt
Thursday 9 May 2019
UEFA Europa League, Stamford Bridge

Live on BT Sport 3 HD – Kick-Off: 20:00 BST

Chelsea will host Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League semi-final tie.

The two sides shared a goal each in the first leg, however Chelsea have the slight advantage with one away goal. Frankfurt’s top goal scorer Luka Jovic opened the scoring before Pedro equalised proceedings just before half-time.

Chelsea are heavy favourites for this match and are priced at 4/11 to win the match by SkyBet. Maurizio Sarri’s side are a clean sheet away from reaching the Europa League final. They have been a formidable force throughout this campaign and are in good form heading into this match. They have lost just 1 match in 10. They also have Eden Hazard firing on all cylinders, and he will be the main threat to the Germans defence. He is price boosted to 7/2 to score first.

Chelsea have kept five clean sheets in their last ten. They are 5/4 to win to nil.

Eintracht Frankfurt are priced at 7/1 to win and pull off a huge surprise. The German outfit have surprised many by reaching this stage and made a good account of themselves on home turf in the first leg. Striker Luka Jovic is catching the eye of plenty of suitors and his performances in this competition are helping that. He has 9 goals in the Europa League and is priced at a huge 8/1 to open the scoring.

The referee for this match will be Romanian Ovidiu Alin Hategan. The official may have a busy night with so much at stake but only 30 booking points were brandished in the first leg. SkyBet are offering 11/8 for 60+ booking points.

Chelsea vs Eintracht Frankfurt will be televised on BT Sport 3 HD and kicks off at 20:00.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

-The hosts will do just enough to reach the final.

Match Betting Preview - Ajax vs Tottenham. Wednesday 8th May 2019, UEFA Champions League - Semi-Finals, 2nd Leg, Amsterdam Arena. Live on BT Sport 2 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

Ajax vs Tottenham
Wednesday 8 May 2019
UEFA Champions League, Amsterdam Arena

Live on BT Sport 2 HD – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT

Ajax and Tottenham will go head to head in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie this Wednesday.

The first leg saw Ajax narrowly defeat their Premier League opponents on unfamiliar soil. They are now a clean sheet away from the UEFA Champions League final. However, Spurs will not want to make it easy for them and the return of Heung-Min Son could prove vital after his suspension.

Ajax are favourites to win this match with the bookmakers and are priced at 11/10 to win by SkyBet. The Dutch side flew through the knockout rounds with ease taking out Real Madrid and Juventus. They also won silverware over the weekend in a convincing 4-0 victory over Willem II. With just one loss from 15 matches, no one will want to face them. Dusan Tadic has been in inspired form this season and has six goals in the competition. He is 9/2 to score first.

Tottenham have a huge 90 minutes ahead of them and are priced at 23/10 to win the second leg. As if this match wasn’t hard enough, Spurs have to try and win without top goal scorer Harry Kane. A big boost for Mauricio Pochettino is that Heung-Min Son returns who had fun last time they played away in this competition with a brace. The Korean is 11/2 to get his team off to a good start and score first.

Form does not look great for the visitors, who have lost 5 of their last six matches in all competitions. They have kept just one clean sheet in that time. They are 9/2 to win and for both teams to score.

The referee for this match will be German Felix Brych. In the first leg, just two yellow cards were shown. However, this time around it is sure to be a feistier affair with so much on the line. SkyBet are offering 8/11 for 50+ booking points.

Ajax vs Tottenham will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 2 and kicks off at 20:00 BST.

Prediction: Ajax 1-1 Tottenham

– The visitors have to throw the kitchen sink, but Ajax have been just too good this campaign and should nick it on aggregate.

Match Betting Preview - Liverpool vs Barcelona. Tuesday 7th May 2019, UEFA Champions League - Semi-Finals, 2nd Leg, Anfield. Live on BT Sport 2 – Kick-Off: 20:00 GMT.

Liverpool vs Barcelona
Tuesday 7th May 2019
UEFA Champions League Semi-Final, Anfield

Live on BT Sport 2 – kick-off: 20:00 BST

Liverpool vs Barcelona: Liverpool will be hoping to launch another one of the Champions League’s most famous comebacks as they bid to overturn a three-goal deficit against Barcelona on Tuesday.

The Reds suffered a disappointing 3-0 reverse in Catalonia last week, with Lionel Messi at his sublime best. A brace from the Argentine, coupled with a Luis Suarez opener, did the damage, leaving Liverpool’s hopes of a second Champions League final in as many years in tatters. Although Jurgen Klopp’s side came away from the Camp Nou convincingly beaten on the scoreline, the Reds were in the game for large portions of the game. Mohamad Salah, amongst others, was guilty of missing some key chances at pivotal moments before Messi stepped in.

Although it isn’t past Liverpool to score three times at Anfield, it will be some ask to do so without a reply. One away goal for Barcelona would leave Liverpool needing five, which really would be mission impossible. Roberto Firmino could miss the clash after the striker missed the weekend win over Newcastle. Divock Origi, the match-winner at St James’ Park could be in line to deputise for the Brazilian in attack.

Barcelona rested all of their star men at the weekend, with La Liga already sewn up. Their target is fixed on the Champions League, a trophy they last won in 2015. Messi’s first-leg genius looks to have secured a place in this year’s final but for a catastrophe at Anfield. Their record in England is good, they haven’t lost in each of their six trips, including wins at both Manchester clubs. Unlike Liverpool, who had to field their strongest side as they continue to battle for the Premier League title, Barcelona’s extra rest could pay dividends. It’s very difficult to see them conceding three, given they have only done that once this season.

Cüneyt Çakır is the referee for this game. The Turkish man was in charge of the second-leg clash between Manchester City and Tottenham last month. He has officiated 25 matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated a total of 3.84 cards per game. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 60+ total booking points for this fixture.

Liverpool are very much up against it against one of Europe’s elite side. I can see them scoring a few goals, maybe even winning, but I can’t see them keeping Messi quiet all evening.

Liverpool vs Barcelona will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 2 with kick off at 20:00 BST.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-2 Barcelona

Suggested Tips – Liverpool vs Barcelona – (BET365):

  • Correct score: Draw – 2-2 – (link no longer available).
  • First Goalscorer – Sadio Mane – (link no longer available).

Suggested Tips – Liverpool vs Barcelona – (SKYBET):

  • Full Time Result & Both Teams to score – Barcelona & Yes – 4/1.

Manchester City vs Leicester City
Monday 6th May 2019
FA Premier League, Etihad Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 20:00 BST

Manchester City vs Leicester: Manchester City will be hoping to make another massive stride to retaining their Premier League title when they host former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City.

Pep Guardiola’s side have not let up in their pursuit of the domestic treble. The champions are in pole position the claim a fourth Premier League title in seven years. They sit one point ahead of Liverpool with two fixtures remaining, in the closest title race for many years. City haven’t dropped any points in the league since their 2-1 defeat to Newcastle in January. It has been a perfect run since, which has seen the Blues win their last 12 games. Similarly, the clean sheets have increased as they bid to grind out three points. They have conceded just one goal in their last eight games, recording seven shut outs. Back-to-back away wins away at Manchester United and Burnley have only further tightened their grip on the league title, with a visit to Brighton to follow this match.

Leicester have been in fine form since Brendan Rodgers’ arrival. The Foxes have taken 17 points from eight games. Last week, they defeated Arsenal 3-0 at the King Power, the highlight result of his tenure to date. Jamie Vardy bagged a brace in that win, making it 11 goals in as many games for the Englishman. That run has taken his tally for the season to 18. If he can manage two more, he will have hit 20+ goals in three of his last four season, which is a remarkable feat. Leicester’s brand of high-pace, counter-attacking football suits him down to the ground and could cause problems for the City defence on Monday night.

Mike Dean is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 40 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 51.6. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Manchester City could definitely have faced easier opponents than Leicester, who are in good form. Guardiola’s side are winners, though, and I fancy them to grind out another win. I still think Leicester may score, given their pace on the counter-attack.

Manchester City vs Leicester City will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League HD with kick off at 20:00 BST

Arsenal vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Sunday 5th May 2019
FA Premier League, Emirates Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League HD – Kick-Off: 16:30 GMT

Arsenal will host Brighton and Hove Albion in Premier League action this Sunday afternoon.

The hosts are still in the hunt for a top four spot with just two matches left in the campaign. Meanwhile, Brighton originally were preparing for this game knowing they needed points to secure top flights status. However with Cardiff losing yesterday to Palace the Seagull’s can visit the Emirates knowing their Premier League status has been secured for another season.

Arsenal are favourites for this match and are priced at 2/5 to win by SkyBet. The Gunners are in hot pursuit of Champions League qualification alongside their glowing Europa League campaign. In midweek, the North London side beat Valencia 3-1 thanks to a brace from Alexandre Lacazette and a late goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Frenchman has been prolific this season with 13 goals and 8 assists. He is price boosted to 9/2 to score first.

The referee for this match will be Anthony Taylor. The official is one of the most respected in the top-flight and has averaged 31.4 booking points per match. In their reverse fixture, there were 30 booking points brandished. With much on the line for both sides, SkyBet are offering 11/10 for 40+ booking points.

Arsenal vs Brighton and Hove Albion will be televised on Sky Sports Premier League HD and kicks off at 16:30 BST.

Huddersfield Town vs Manchester United
Sunday 5th May 2019
FA Premier League, John Smiths’ Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League HD – Kick Off: 14:00 BST

Huddersfield Town vs Manchester United: Manchester United head to Huddersfield in a must-win match, if they’re to keep their faint hopes of a Champions League place alive.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are firmly in catch-up mode as they chase fourth spot in the Premier League. The Red Devils sit a point behind Arsenal and three adrift of Chelsea, who occupy fourth, at the moment. With only two games remaining, it looks like United could have to settle for Europa League football next term. Solskjaer will be hoping six points from their final two games will help to lift the cloud over Old Trafford. It’s a big summer to come at the Theatre of Dreams, with a lot of rebuilding set to take place.

A host of players in a red shirt are set to depart this summer, which means everyone’s future is in doubt. With that in mind, it should inspire those on the fringes to step up their performances to try and secure their long-term future with the club. Last time on the road, United were thumped 4-0 by Everton. In all competitions, they have lost their last five games, which is a stark contrast from their form at the start of the Norwegian’s reign.

Huddersfield will be hoping to end their dismal with some joy in their final two fixtures. With Championship football looming next season, the club will be hoping to head back to the second tier with some momentum. They will be spirited by their win over United last season, which was arguably their most famous result during their time in the Premier League. Their last win at the John Smith’s Stadium came in February and they have only scored twice at home since that victory.

Lee Mason is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 27 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 35.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Although Manchester United have struggled of late, Huddersfield just don’t have the quality to compete with them. A routine, much-needed win for Solksjaer.

Huddersfield Town vs Manchester United will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League HD with kick off at 14:00 BST.

Newcastle United will host title contenders Liverpool in Premier League action this Saturday night.

Rafa Benitez side are in good form as they recently confirmed their Premier League status for another season with three matches unbeaten. Meanwhile, Liverpool are still hunting down Manchester City at the top of the table with just two matches remaining.

Newcastle United are huge underdogs despite home advantage and are priced at 15/2 to win by SkyBet. Rafa Benítez’ side have made St James Park a fortress with just two losses from their last ten home matches. In fact, Liverpool haven’t won at Newcastle since 2013, when they comfortably beat them 6-0.

Striker Ayoze Perez has been clinical recently with goals in three consecutive matches. He is price boosted to 9/1 to open the scoring.

Liverpool are priced at 4/11 to win this match. With two matches left, all Liverpool can do is try and win them both and hope Manchester City slip up, who are one point ahead of them. They are in good form domestically, with seven consecutive wins and an average of 2.86 goals in that period. Sadio Mane has been crucial to this success as he took his tally to 20 Premier League goals. The Senegalese attacker is price boosted to 4/1 to score first.

The referee for this match will be Andre Marriner. The official has been one of the more reasonable with the players this season and has averaged 31.2 booking points per match in the top-flight. When these two last met, not one card was shown in Liverpool’s convincing 4-0 victory. SkyBet are offering 4/6 for 30+ booking points.

Newcastle United vs Liverpool will be televised on Sky Sports Premier League HD and kicks off at 19:45.

Match Betting Preview - Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur. Saturday 4th May 2019, FA Premier League, Vitality Stadium. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 12:30 BST.

Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur
Saturday 4th May 2019
FA Premier League, Vitality Stadium

Live on Sky Sports Premier League – Kick-Off: 12:30 BST

Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur: Tottenham take a trip to the South Coast bidding to secure their place in the Champions League next season.

After back-to-back defeats in the league, Spurs have put their Champions League hopes at risk. Saturday’s disappointing defeat to West Ham was rescued by Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United dropping points for a second consecutive week. With two games remaining, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have a four-point lead over Arsenal in fifth. That means a win over Eddie Howe’s side will confirm their place amongst Europe’s elite next campaign.

On the road, things have been tough for Tottenham as they’ve lost their last five in the league. Their last win away from home in the Premier League came back on January 20, a staggering run for a team competing at the top of the table. It’s eight defeats in nine in all competition too. Heung-Min Son’s absence saw them fall to another defeat in midweek as they lost 1-0 to Ajax in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final. With the return leg scheduled for Wednesday night, it will be interesting to see how much of a priority this clash is for Pochettino.

Bournemouth’s campaign has ended with a bit of a stutter following two wins in 11 games. Injuries have hampered Howe’s side in the second half of the campaign. They sit 14th in the table but 11 points from danger. Had they not had such a strong first half of the campaign, it would have been interesting to see if the Cherries would have been dragged into the mire. Callum Wilson has found some good form at the back end of the season after scoring six goals in his last ten games. Two of those came last week as they twice battled from behind to draw 3-3 with Southampton.

Craig Pawson is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 37 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 42.4. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Bournemouth have struggled at the Vitality Stadium recently but Tottenham’s away form is also poor. I think Spurs may have one mind on their Champions League semi-final but I’ll still back them to edge this contest.

Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur will be televised live on Sky Sports Premier League in the UK with kick off at 12:30 BST.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1-2 Tottenham

Suggested Tips – Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur – (BET365):

Match Betting Preview - Everton vs Burnley. Friday 3rd May 2019, FA Premier League, Goodison Park. Live on Sky Sports Premier League - Kick-Off: 20:00 BST.

Everton vs Burnley
Friday 3rd May 2019
FA Premier League, Goodison Park

Sky Sports Premier League – 20:00 BST

Everton vs Burnley: Everton will be looking to continue their fine run of form when they host Burnley at Goodison Park.

The Toffees are enjoying their best run of form under Marco Silva. They sit ninth in the table, four points behind seventh-placed Wolves with two games remaining. Goodison Park has certainly been a happy home for them recently. They have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United in their last three, plus a draw with Liverpool prior to that. In that run, they didn’t concede a goal; the last away team to score at Goodison was Manchester City at the start of February, nearly three months ago. One defeat in nine shows that this is their strongest run of the season, which is encouraging ahead of next season. Silva was under growing pressure after a poor start to the season but things finally seem to be coming to fruition under the Portuguese head coach.

Burnley have secured their Premier League status in recent weeks after one defeat in five games. That result came last time out against Manchester City but a draw with Chelsea and wins over Burnley, Bournemouth and Cardiff is a fairer reflection of their run. The Clarets haven’t lost on the road since March 10, almost two months. Throw into the mix they also secured a historic 1-0 win against Everton last season, with Jeff Hendrick grabbing the winner. With a visit from Arsenal set to follow their trip to Merseyside, there was a real danger of Burnley suffering relegation. Sean Dyche deserves massive credit for steering them to safety once again.

Chris Kavanagh is the referee for this fixture. The Englishman has officiated 33 top-flight matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average booking points total of 33.6. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 50+ total points for this fixture.

Everton’s strong form at Goodison has seen them fly up the table. With Burnley already safe, I think that this might end up as a slender home win.

Everton vs Burnley will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event with kick off at 20:00 BST.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Chelsea

Europa League semi-final, Commerzbank-Arena

Frankfurt vs Chelsea: Chelsea make the short trip to Germany as they face this season’s surprise package, Frankfurt, looking to claim victory in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final.

The Blues head across the border in high spirits after their 1-1 draw with Manchester United at the weekend. Despite going behind, Marcos Alonso’ quick thinking after David de Gea’s mistakes ensured that Maurizio Sarri’s side stayed in the hunt for the top four. Chelsea hold a two-point lead on their rivals Arsenal and three on United, with only two games to play. With the Gunners falling to a third-straight defeat at Leicester City, the initiative is very much in the Blues’ hands. Although they have a great chance of reaching the Champions League through the Premier League, the chance of another piece of silverware is potentially only three games away.

Frankfurt defeated Benfica 2-0 in their last European encounter, to send them through on away goals. Adi Hütter’s side have really shone this season and sit fourth in the Bundesliga, with a three-point lead over fifth. With only three games left, they should seal a Champions League spot for next season too, regardless of their efforts in this competition. One of this season’s hottest marksman, Luka Jovic, is their biggest dangerman. The Serbian forward has 17 goals in 29 league games this season and a whopping eight goals in 12 Europa League matches. If rumours are true, there is a good chance Frankfurt’s star man could line up for Thursday’s visitors, or for a host of other major European powerhouses.

Carlos del Cerro Grande is the referee for this fixture. The German has officiated 8 La Liga matches this season. In that time, he has accumulated an average total of 6 cards per game. Therefore, I would advise a maximum of 60+ total booking points for this fixture.

Frankfurt will be wary of committing too much forward, even though they are at home, as they will feel confident of scoring at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea, themselves, are hardly prolific and, as a result, I can see this being a tight, nervy first leg.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Chelsea will be televised live int the UK on BT Sport 3 HD and kicks off at 20:00.
